Cool Link Forged in Foxboro: Season 2

Links to cool things
The draft was interesting. I thought they hit it out of the park with the first 3 picks, and pretty much sucked on day 3 (except for Crownover) Then knocked it out of the park again with the UDFA's

BTW- I heard a podcast, (I think it was Phil Perry), the other day that stated the Prunty "stood out" in the rookie mini camp.... which was nice.
I really like the first 3 as well. Day 3 picks are always going to be hit or miss, depending on how they fit scheme, take to coaching and gain strength and reps.
Certainly Crownover, Prunty and Obiazor might contribute this year. Morton and Miller could stick on the PS.

Morton could end up on the PS, but the league now provides a "bonus" roster spot on gameday that can only be filled by a QB3 on the 53. Based on them claiming DeVito off waivers last year, I think they will carry three QBs.

collaboration sure looks good in episode 1 of Forged in Foxboro
damn shame Bill couldn't work with it
Vrabel is in charge, Cowden is his personnel guy, Elliot makes sure the checks get signed.

We saw what collaboration looked like in 2024 without an adult in the room.

why didn't it work for Bill?
Ego?
Spite?

6 rings = “didn’t work”

You must be one of those deep thinkers.
just a realist who watched a dynasty fall apart when it didn't have to, because of ego

Brady could have played to 60 at least, BB could have e coached to 100.

An interesting look into the Ravens draft:

I loathe the Ravens, but they are generally one of the better drafting teams.

And a look at the Bears:

These videos are all a bit formulaic: the staff is aligned in their vision, they do their homework, they identify their targets, they go get them. Fight! Win!

I doubt it really works that way.

Not really. Half the 1st round picks have already signed, and 20/32 2nd round picks, including picks 52, 53, 58 and 59.

A teary "I'm going to give you everything I got from day 1" works better for me when the player is actually doing that.
This site has been updated and only 4 of 32 second round picks remain unsigned which includes Jacas. The pick in front of him and behind him have signed. Anybody have any insight to what the holdup is with Jacas. Lomu makes sense as nobody around him has signed.
