We should have kept Forbath as an onside kick specialist. ;)

They can give him a new locker. Good grief.

Maybe Folk returns in a couple of weeks, but it’s got to be telling that they put in a waiver claim for the guy on SF. In other words, we should probably expect some news on yet another kicker, tomorrow.

    Absolutely.

I was just arguing from my own biases where I am not a fan of high variance play. Hell, even claiming he is "high variance" is a biased opinion because all I know about the guy is what he did for the 49ers.

Maybe Bill & co have a folder on him from the college scouting department and have a totally different evaluation.

He did really well too. The kid is seriously impressive in many ways. I almost hope they do let him be the kicker for a game just because he has not given me any reason to doubt him yet.

I wonder if Kaepernick can kick?

Sign him, let the circus ensue ... and then we'd have no more worries about hit pieces on our struggling offense...

Besides eliminating one roster position and performing kickoffs, how do we know his accuracy on field goals? I want the best person for the job.

This late in the season, the best person for the kicking job is already kicking for another team.

They’re probably just getting a good long look at the DT they just picked up and letting Folk heal up.

They don’t really need need a make a move until tomorrow.

This all seems funny, but it's not...seriously who is going to kick for us ? How can we go into next week with only one kicker .
Bill should call up someone from the CFL...their season is over and they have some really great kickers !

We do understand I hope that Forbath's only miss wasn't his fault.
