It was pretty obvious. I think the OP tried to turn it into a pertinent topic
Are you the master of hindsight? Both Reiss and Gurggle thought it was newsworthy.
Let's poke through the original news item, which prompted me to make my post, shall we?
The Patriots have their eight practice squad players, who normally don't travel to road games, joining the team for practice starting tomorrow. Given the injury situation, the Patriots certainly need the bodies. With Vince Wilfork (shoulder) and Ty Warren (groin) ailing, a player like practice squad defensive lineman Titus Adams is likely to see more practice reps. Players are off today, with their first practice of the week scheduled for tomorrow.
So you're telling me you think it was just standard procedure to point out that the P-Squad was traveling to Cali, to point that they normally don't travel, and to link that info to injuries? Did you notice Mike later edited the note to include that this was NOT UNUSUAL. Why do you suppose he might do that? Hm... puzzling.
