Felger was a guest in WEEI that day & I remember him saying what a bad Dude Dillon was & this was a big mistake.

As usual Felger was wrong & Dillon was awesome his first season & helped us win a super bowl.

To be fair, Dillon was and is a bad person, and his domestic violence **** was far worse than Floyd's DUI.

I can still remember my exact location while driving when WEEI reported that the Patriots traded a 2nd round pick for Corey Dillon.

As usual Felger was wrong & Dillon was awesome his first season & helped us win a super bowl.

Yesterday "the sky is falling - Chicken little" Felger had that clown Paul Perillo on after they announced the Floyd pickup.

Well the two contrarians didn't like the pickup "surprise - surprise".
Perillo said he did not like the cost 1.3M, even though they will get a comp pick if he signs with another team next year.

Perillo says comp picks are over valued & he does not see a 110 overall comp pick being worth 1.3M.

I wonder what type of value he puts on the 2000 #199 overall pick Tom Brady.

If you added Borges to the mix with those 2 clowns, you would have the 3 stooges. Nobody is more wrong on the Patriots than that trio.

Maligning the Three Stooges is an unforgivable offense, Especially egregious when mentioned in a sentence with Felger.

Who feckin cares? Compicks are overrated, what a tool. what does that even mean? You get to pick players with them, right? You can even trade them now.

I wonder how many teams would pony up a mil and a half for a player in the third, fourth, or fifth round if they could at any time? I would be a lot would.

I don't know a lot about dillons DV charge but he claimed he was defending himself and the facts seem to make that possible.
There was a second accusation later but it appeared to not include any violence and was dropped.

Let us not forget that these morons were maligning the Griff Whalen signing because he participated in one of the dumbest plays of the year.

This is but another example of the media game of click baiting. I finally came to terms (sort of) with this crap when I realized that 90% of what they say is just shtick. Since they don't have to be accountable for anything they say, why not say the thing that incites the biggest response, regardless of the facts. There is no downside. Once you figure that out, it still really pisses you off when they do it......but just less.

Corey's love and respect for the game was tangible and refreshing, and he played with superior passion. I could not believe it when the Patriots got him.

His inevitable break with local Boston media says everything about them, period.

And, the domestic incident was obviously not good, but nowhere near Hardy-, Rice- or even Fryar-level.
