I am sitting here listening to BBs press conference and the reporters are questioning why the Pats signed Floyd. As in how dare they. I can't ever remember a time where a player acquisition has been questioned so much. I get the DUI thing but no one complained about Branch.

Had he gone to any other team, would he have had this type of reaction? Just saw Jeff Saturday is crying about it. And it's not just nationally, it's the local media as well.

I feel like I'm in the twilight zone. Nothing seems to make sense anymore.

As an aside, does the brutal reaction actually mean they are scared he's a great pickup for the Pats? Then why would the local press be as angry?

Saturday played for years on the Colts with the "Lickered up kicker". Never said a word.

I can still remember my exact location while driving when WEEI reported that the Patriots traded a 2nd round pick for Corey Dillon.

Felger was a guest in WEEI that day & I remember him saying what a bad Dude Dillon was & this was a big mistake.

As usual Felger was wrong & Dillon was awesome his first season & helped us win a super bowl.

Yesterday "the sky is falling - Chicken little" Felger had that clown Paul Perillo on after they announced the Floyd pickup.

Well the two contrarians didn't like the pickup "surprise - surprise".
Perillo said he did not like the cost 1.3M, even though they will get a comp pick if he signs with another team next year.

Perillo says comp picks are over valued & he does not see a 110 overall comp pick being worth 1.3M.

I wonder what type of value he puts on the 2000 #199 overall pick Tom Brady.

If you added Borges to the mix with those 2 clowns, you would have the 3 stooges. Nobody is more wrong on the Patriots than that trio.

I love this. I love that belichick doesn't give a **** and is basically saying F U to the league.

Yeah, we had a murderer on our team, and we handled that pretty much perfectly. And you know what? This isn't that, so you can go F yourself. We are on to Denver.

"But what about the arrest?"

Denver.

"But what will my daughter think?"

Denver.

"Insert tears here"

Denver.

So, exactly how many women did Michael beat nearly to death?

Let me educate you about the local Boston media,...

The Patriots did it, therefore it must be wrong. From there, you just have to figure out which facts to get selectively outraged over and which to ignore in order to justify that.

Alternately, if the Jets had claimed him a bunch of people here would be lobbing grenades at them over how they're letting the inmates run the asylum. And don't care about morals. It's just what people do to teams they're rooting against, and for whatever reason the Boston media at large falls into the "rooting against the Patriots" camp.

Who feckin cares? Compicks are overrated, what a tool. what does that even mean? You get to pick players with them, right? You can even trade them now.

I wondered about this myself. Why do they care if he "destroys team chemistry"? They should want this, since they actively root against NE.

You clearly see what's been going on nationally and locally for the last thirty plus years...

Of course, baseless contempt and bias make no sense at all. Except to James Orthwein and Bob Kraft, who agree it's time for a makeover and destroy the team's identity because they can, because there's nothing the team's fans can do about it. The very least a team's fans can do is watch their team compete out on the field, against rivals who mostly haven't wrecked their own history and real traditions.

But not the Patriots. The recurring theme of the last forty-five years.

I swear to God I'm going to get my own thirty minute show on our town's local cable access channel and produce the one, single media show which calls out all the morons and derision directed at my local pro football team. The challenge of course, will be to do it without abject, constant use of appropriate obscenities.

You don't need a TV show to do that.

I'll chip in to fund an Uber account for Floyd if he can figure out the route tree and catch passes when Brady hits him in the hands. If he's gonna have a beer, he shouldn't drive.

Hook me up. I'm in AZ but I'll skype in. It would be glorious.

Will keep you posted. Not sure, thinking best to post on YouTube post-airing. We've got enough material for at least a dozen shows right now, to start off. Title ideas? New England Patriots Underground...

It's all just contrarian bullsh.t. It doesn't matter what move they make the same group of douchebags will rip it, and Borges, CHB, Massarotti, Tomase, and Felger have proven that it doesn't matter if you are always wrong because you can still pretend you are always right. I stopped reading and listening to all these douchebags years ago and I'm happier for it.
