I think our Team Needs a disciplinarian type HC BB was one. Flores have that type of seriousness about him.Because Flores is a punk who wanted to pose as a hardo.
From the way Flores treated Tua, I had assumed that Tua was a complete Zach Wilson level sub moron who had to be managed for mistakes like Mac Jones in a Buffalo Windstorm.I think Flores ****ed up too, but let's not act like Tua is a great player who is a dream to coach.
I agree with your point, but I am not sure that Flores is my first pick or among my last picks. Flores is Top 10 of DCs, and the bottom half as an offensive coach?Flores would be my first pick to game plan a defense to stifle a great offense, but among my last picks to nurture a QB.
Never said he was. He became a good NFL QB, he’s not the upper echelon like Mahomes, Burrow, Allen, etc.. but he’s a good starter. Phins are 40-24 with him and 7-14 without.I think Flores ****ed up too, but let's not act like Tua is a great player who is a dream to coach.
How was Flores right about Tua? He’s not the best QB in the league but he’s a good starting QB. He doesn’t suck or not deserve to be there like Flores told him. That’s ridiculous. The Phins win a whole lot more with Tua than when he’s out.Flores was right about Tua.
While Vrabel appears to be a really good leader and culture builder, Flores is an Xs and Os guy who will have the defense prepared and we know he will challenge the offense to be good. He would need an OC he can get along with (he went through multiple OCs in Miami).
I agree but I do not know if Flores was bitter. Do you have a link or are you guessing?Never said he was. He became a good NFL QB, he’s not the upper echelon like Mahomes, Burrow, Allen, etc.. but he’s a good starter. Phins are 40-24 with him and 7-14 without.
But when it comes to the Tua/Flores fiasco the blame has to go on Flores. He was bitter because they didn’t take Herbert and instead of developing Tua he took it out on him. You can’t blame a rookie when he comes in and the head coach tells him he sucks, he doesn’t deserve to be there, and that he wanted someone else.

I disagree. Tua was able to take tough coaching from Saban. Telling a rookie they suck, that you didn’t want them, and that they don’t deserve to be there isn’t motivation, it’s Flores being pissed he didn’t get his guy (Herbert).Flores was trying to get him to toughen up/motivate him. Tua bringing it up later on how it hurt his feelings proved Flores right. He's soft.

That doesn’t make sense at all. Even if Flores didn’t want Tua, didn’t think much of him, etc…that is the QB he got, so wouldn’t it make more sense to try to develop him and make him the best QB you can instead of telling him he sucks and that you don’t want him?Whether you agree if that was motivation or not, Flores is gonna end up being right. Tua is soft, is small statured, and has a weak arm. He is on his way out of the NFL because he can't handle the physicality and he stubbornly takes unnecessary hits. Dolphins giving him a $212M contract was a terrible decision.
It's gonna look worse once Tyreek leaves, who made that offense go.
The Raiders are now paying 4 former head coaches, Bob and Jonathan need to mention that to Vrabel.I could definitely see TB12 trying to get Vrabel. I just don’t see Vrabel taking that job.
Agreed.I could be wrong Pape, but I think that Vrabel is already a done deal. I'm not saying that's who I want or don't want. I just have a suspicion that it's what's going to happen (and already has happened behind the scenes).

A coaches job is to improve the team and get as much out the players as you can. How he handled Tua is the exact opposite of that.
Until someone signs, there should be options, and Flores is a viable option. For example, Brady could convince Vrabel to come to Las Vegas, and Johnson could go to Chicago. It doesn't hurt to do their due diligence.
If Vrabel and Johnson won't come, you could have your wish, another coach on a very short leash. Flores would bring the Defense back to top 10 or better. AVP, McCartney and McAdoo could stay. This group would be a massive improvement.I agree with your point, but I am not sure that Flores is my first pick or among my last picks.
