Love 'em or hate 'em, I don't care. It's AFC Championship Week, it's a national show and it's relevent.

If you hate them so much don't bother clicking on the vid and ignore the thread.....or you can post your disgust and we can laugh at the hypocritatical feigned outrage. Either way, it's Patriot's AFCCG week.

I agree with Steven A. We need to unleash Jonas and the rushing attack. Until they can prove they can stop it, go back to the well. Last 2 meetings :90 rushes, 480 yards, 5.3 Avg., 10 TD's.

They couldn't stop it last year, they couldn't stop it this year and you can bet your arse they won't stop it Sunday Night. Hope Fleming is a go as well.

I agree, but I don't like their angle. I think everything that happened against the Ravens is not reason to be scared, it's reason to be motivated to play like we know this team can play. Amazing game, but I still feel the reason it was so close, and so thrilling, is because we screwed the pooch to start off the game. Start off on the right foot, and that game wouldn't have been as close as it was. Start off on the right foot, and we show the nation, the Colts beat a bad Broncos QB.

I could be wrong, but I also believe the Colts being "better" and being able to take down the Broncos, has to do with the Broncos playing even worse than we did.

Look back just one week. We saw the Colts play the Bengals. Both teams looked amateurish. That game tells me this was more of a case of Manning sucking, then the Colts finally "arriving". They got demolished by multiple quality playoff opponents, even the Cowboys, just before the playoffs. The Cowboys game, the Bengals game, those are realistic facts that lead me to see the Broncos were not a quality playoff opponent this past Sunday, not that the Colts have arrived.

I'm not underestimating them. I just think this is the reality. If they want to be seen as having truly arrived, they would have to beat us straight up. I feel good.

Manning missed several open throws and Thomas had a few inexplicable drops. I wasn't really THAT impressed with the Colts defense, as they got numerous breaks on that. Tom Brady is also much better than Manning at this point.

Also, I'm almost certain that the Pats defense will not play as poorly as they did against Baltimore.

Unless the Colts play the game of their lives and the Pats shoot themselves in the foot a few times, I don't see this being THAT competitive.

I usually can tolerate them, but they are idiots if they think the Pats "could only" run 14 yards. That was the plan from the get go. BB is the master of messing with peoples minds.

This was the weirdest First Take I've ever seen. Since when did Jonas Gray become Barry Sanders? The Pats rushed for so few yards against Baltimore because Baltimore has the best run D in the league (or one of the top ones).

Belichick cares about winning the game, not about stats.

gray is far from a impact player but he should be at lest active on the playoff roster Blount is hot garbage 3 att for 1 yard 0.3 yards per att he may look ok vs the colts this week but I do agree that gray needs to be active for the AFCCG and the SB if they get there

I like the show when its football related but this one was largely dumb. Didn't care for their narrative.
If Belichick thinks Gray will help, Gray will play.

Skip's fear of Indy is a little hysterical as well.

...and this probably the reason you wont see it. BB will do what is least expected. You know, deceit. .... Isn't that cheating?

But, I do agree, Gray should be used if available

Over the years I've come to the conclusion that if there's one thing BB can do, maybe better then anyone in the NFL- it's evaluate guys on his roster. Give him time to scout a player and he'll get it right 99% of the time. He takes UDFA's who wouldn't even get a shot, and put them over higher drafted layers while the fans are thinking "what does he see?"

He takes guys that the team supposedly can't live without Milloy, or Samuel and let them walk.

This is far from the first controversy where the fans or pundits think BB isn't putting the best talent on the field. Thus far, the number of times he's been wrong has been almost zero. Which is insane, every year we see players leave one team and excel elsewhere, but here in NE it's always one sided.

If Jonas isn't playing, it's probably because he isn't helping the team as much as fans or pundits think.

Agreed. I like the show as well, but they sounded very mis-informed about the entire subject throughout that segment. Not sure what Skip is so fearful of either.

Agree with that. If thry've "arrived" then they'll have found a way to stop our offense. Otherwise, it's the same old Colts.

By the end of Sunday I think we'll be saying "They are who we thought they were".

Yeah and let's not forget just how ineffective the Bengals were. They were missing AJ Green, Gresham, James Wright, and the Colts still struggled against a Marvin Lewis Bengals team in the playoffs with Andy Dalton at QB throwing to his third string receivers. To make matters worse, Maualuga also got hurt early in that game.

Yeah, if Manning was the Manning that started the season, the Broncos probably would have scored 30+ points. Sanders was open a lot down field. Manning just couldn't hit the side of a barn in Sunday.

This segment just shows how they are more 2nd hand consumers of media (i.e. they don't do any of their own research, but go more from what they hear) than people who can provide any insight into how football is played.

In the end, I trust BB will to win and knowing how it may be done moreso than BB's ego driving the team to a disavantage.

the ravens game only showed that this pats team can turn it on and off like a switch

Mix Gray and Blount to start off, give the guy with the hotter hand the majority of the carries.

That show sucked monkey butt.
