First Meaningless 2025 Mock

4. Travis Hunter. Ideal pick.

38. Derrick Harmon. First round talent still available? The Patriots’ luck continues.

69. Ozzy Trapilo. Safest OT in the draft.
77. Developmental LT. Charles Grant. Had he played at a Power 4 school, he’s likely gone a round earlier.

105. Tai Felton. A fast, productive X receiver. The luck continues. Instant starter.

145. Hoping for the Toledo DT, Darius the Man Wrecker. The luck runs out. How about a power RB? Damien Martinez.

219. Solid two down DT, Ty Hamilton out of Ohio State.

222. Que Robinson. A third down pass rusher at the edge. Another position of need. Surprisingly available.

240. LaJohntay Wester. Fast little wideout that gets open in a hurry. Good to know if Demontrey Jacobs is your starting OT.

If the first 4 picks turn out like that and we can get Martinez later I would be jumping of joy for a week non stop.

Here's how they rank OTs on PFN currently (correction Membou #7 but was selected in the top 3)

Excellent mock.

Would you play him at cb or WR as his primary position?
I think that'll come down to FA. If they sign a CB2 and don't make any of the big trades for a WR, WR makes the most sense. One thought I have had about him is whether he could be a deep safety. He has the athleticism and ball skills for it.

A non-Ohio State mock, based partly on today's activities:

15. Ashton Jeanty RB Boise State; it was either he or Josh Simmons, so I decided to go down this road for a change.

40. Josh Conerly Jr. OT Oregon; I would've taken Donovan Jackson if Conerly weren't available.

46. Kenneth Grant DT Michigan; no-brainer.

71. Jaylin Noel WR Iowa State; his teammate Higgins was already taken, so it was between Noel & Jack Bech.

89. Kyle Kennard EDGE South Carolina; Gillotte & Swinson were already taken.

93. Elijah Arroyo TE Miami (FL); Weapon.

111. Anthony Belton OT NC State; LT experience with RT size = Perfect Swing Tackle.

117. Quincy Riley CB Louisville; Carlton Davis will be on IR at least once this season. Book it.

127. Malachi Moore S Alabama; I'm drafting a Free Safety early if Holland isn't signed here.

155. Nick Nash WR San Jose State; last of the solid Round 5 & earlier WRs
.
186. Cody Lindenberg LB Minnesota; was gonna go with Cody Simon from Ohio State, but at this juncture I just said **** it, if I haven't drafted a Buckeye by now...

197. Que Robinson EDGE Alabama; I still planned on double-dipping at DE even with the Laundry signing.

207. Willie Lampkin OG North Carolina... and 231. Alijah Huzzie CB North Carolina; a couple of buds from back home for Drake.

2026 ATL 2nd
2026 ATL 3rd
2026 GB 4th
2026 NO 5th
2026 WAS 5th
2026 GB 7th

After today, I’d consider this about as good as it gets. Sign Robinson to a 1-2year deal , and he can start till Simmons is ready. Got a haul for number 4 so i took it.

Wanted RB Henderkson Ohio St at 69 but he went 2 spots before.

That's very good. I think LG is still a hole that needs to be fixed.

You filled the biggest hole on the roster now - the left side of the OL. Nice mock.

Thx. I could actually see us getting a decent haul from someone in the 10-15 range.

I really like Golden, something about him reminds me of AB. However i don’t know what it is. His feet look so slow, it’s really confusing how he ran a 4.29. I don’t think he plays at that speed. He could if he got rid of some of those wasted steeps. He has speed, but it’s just weird. I don’t know is that just me?

I'm less of a fan of Golden but I tend to prefer bigger WRs but I can see his upside. I need to go back to his tape. For me personally, I'd look to Jayden Higgins as things stand.

He always seems to be wide open, even on the plays he never got the ball. His tracking is top notch. And he’s creative. I think he’s Raw. Which scares me because of our ability to develop WR’s.

A couple of days ago I watched Antonio Brown on the Rogan Podcast. He seems to be doing much much better as a person. Came off as a pretty cool guy when he’s got his act together. He’s the kind of guy that can make you laugh by just being alive.

Anyways. It really got me thinking of his play in his prime. IMO, he was the best WR ever over that 3 year span. So talented. I probably watched 30 minutes of his highlights after. Oddly a few mins after I watched Goldens tape and it just felt like I was watching a bigger AB.

"something about him reminds me AB". I hope it is not about a brain.

I wasn't given many trade down opportunities so had to stick and pick which meant missing out on DT, CB and TE.

1. I really like this first four pick combination.

2. Jayden Higgins keeps going in the first round in my mocks now so it came down to Bech and Ayomanor. Bech's 3-cone and hands wins it.

3. I can't decide what type of RB Vrabel will want. A Rhamondre type who doesn't fumble or a lightning back to Rhamondre's thunder. I could have gone with Jaydon Blue instead of Martinez.

4. I can't quit Logan Brown.

Thus my internal debate between Conerly and Donovan Jackson...

If this front orifice can maybe for just once get its collective head out of its collective ASS, stop ****ing-around and sign Cam Robinson, then maybe Conerly can play LG for his first season or two here...

I don't want Robinson if he's going to cost what Dan Moore cost.

Ah well, we'll always have 2019 in Miami, aka the Last Great Game of the Dynasty... So bittersweet...

If Bend-Over Bobby had the ****ing minerals to call the league's bluff, then at the bare ****ing minimum we have a first-round bye.

Then who the **** is our Left ****ing Tackle?!?

**** that ****; pay the man and end this ****ing **** show out there Right ****ing Now.
