First Meaningless 2025 Mock

You have a better feel for this draft stuff
I have watched some stuff on Stewart.
He has power and definately can set the edge and pressure the QB. Just never seems to finish
Hell also be going up against better competition in the NFL
I know he tore up the Combine. But tape matters to me very much
4 seems way too rich and risky
We need to hit on this pick
Thoughts?
As @Steve102 says we've been having this discussion. I largely agree with you both that it is a risky pick but I think there are good reasons to think the upside is attainable. It's the usual high floor/high upside dilemma and whilst I still have Membou above Stewart, I do think the risk may be worth it to get proper value out of the 4th pick and because he's such a good run defender, I think the risk is contained.

Would you take this mock from Chad Graff of The Athletic?

4. Shemar Stewart, EDGE, Texas A&M

38. Luther Burden, WR, Missouri

69. Ozzy Trapilo, OT, Boston College

77. Terrance Ferguson, TE, Oregon

104. CJ West, DT, Indiana

144. Denzel Burke, CB, Ohio State

218. Miles Frazier, OG, LSU

221. Donovan Edwards, RB, Michigan

239. Jordan Hancock, S, Ohio State

I would be very happy with the first five picks in this mock and might make other choices later on but but I think he's done a good job here. It's hard to argue with the picks at 69, 77 and 104, considering what's been taken beforehand.

I stopped reading after #4.

I stopped reading after you had Missouri at 23. There must have been an OHIO STATE player available there.

Memboumania

I got Pound for pound the greatest collection of heavies. Sprinkled with some combine studs late.
Like this one, tell me about Winston, he’s the only one in this list I know nothing about. I’m on the Membou train also and really like Collins.

Well he just turned 21 in December. He's probably best suited for strong safety which is not really a specific need for us but he's definitely an upgrade IMO. He's just limited to zone coverage.

What do you have against Cornhuskers?

I still own a Fryar jersey but when he was an Eagle lol
My pals are from Nebraska. That's when they became Pats fans for real. Then he hit the tree and they needed therapy.
