First Meaningless 2025 Mock

I love it. But that seems a huge haul for the Patriots to go to 8. If it comes to pass, this approach and the players selected are magnificent. I doubt punk James Pearce Jr., a top five talent on paper, drops all the way to 39.

I thought so, too. I know, but it accepted it. Also not a fan of Pearce but he was just sitting there. I would have taken Jalen Travis toward the end, but he wasn't listed in the PFF draft. At least I couldn't find him

Traded back with the Jete for 7 and 42. Got the best TE room in the NFL now, and fixed LT at #38. Traded back again at #42 with the Falcons at picked up #118. Went with another TD scorer with Hampton, got Ozzy, big boy Alfred Collins for the DL and Restrepo for JMcD, and was ready to go home with that. I like Moore, Diggs was BPA and Jack Sawyer brings championship pedigree. Binky Lampkin who plays meaner than his size and a kicker to piss of Cap'n.

I passed on a bunch of WRs at #46, but I think with Restrepo and Diggs added to the room, they are in adequate shape to play on Sundays. Probably not great, but ok enough. Defenses will have to game plan around Hampton and Warren, making all the other pass catchers that much better. Conerly, Trapilo and Lampkin make it so now the OL is vastly improved, nigh a strength. If this was the draft they got, they'd be battling the Bills for the AFCE and wouldn't get pushed around by anyone in the NFL. They'd be back.

I eff'n love this draft.

Jack Sawyer at 171? Okay.

I realise that's not on you.

I like your first five picks although Hampton won't make it to 46. I think we can do better than Restrepo although that depends on the type of receiver you're looking at.

I almost took Jack at #144 but Diggs was rated higher, so I took BPA and then Jack was still there at #171.

I agree that Restrepo isn't the end all be all, and I struggled at #46 because there were some good WRs left. Noel, Royals and Higgins were all there, but I think Hampton is a much better player than those guys overall. He could be a real force. Like I said, thru #118 I was ready to close up shop. Loved those early picks. I should have looked to see why Hampton was there and Ozzy, because I think getting both was a real bonus.

I would take Hampton over those three too but I'm not sure he makes it out of the top 20.

I highly recommend ESPN from now on. It's easy to use. It seems to have the most accurate rankings. Trades are fair and very easy to adjust. The only negative is there's no bio provided but we can obviously find that on our own.

You're right. Picked up an almost dream draft (for me) without bothering with trades or thinking about it too much. It is very good, and feels more realistic than others. I saw that Wyatt Milum fell to the 4th. That'll be good if it really happens.

I tried it yesterday and it would not load the pick I made. Got frustrated, swore how I hate ESPN and moved on.

Same update from PFN as my last one, but this time I couldn't find a trade partner at 15 and Banks was already taken...

15. Armand Membou OT Missouri - definitely gonna need to find an OT with Substantial starting LT experience now...

38. TreVeyon Henderson RB Ohio State
52. Jayden Higgins WR Iowa State
69. Mason Taylor TE LSU - usually he's no longer available this late now
77. Jack Bech WR TCU - except for Noel instead of Bech, this is as good a group of Weppunz as I could've expected

101. Ashton Gillotte EDGE Louisville - was hoping Kyle Kennard would've lasted 4 more picks
106. Billy Bowman S Oklahoma

127. Charles Grant OT William & Mary - The Backup Plan

149. Jordan Phillips DT Maryland
179. Jack Sawyer EDGE Ohio State - I know I'm sandbagging here

200. Willie Lampkin OG North Carolina
204. Caleb Ransaw CB Tulane
216. Cody Simon LB Ohio State
255. Chimere Dike WR Florida

2026 ATL 2nd
2026 ATL 3rd
2026 DAL 5th
2026 TEN 5th
2026 NYG 7th
2026 SEA 7th

oh yeah they said it was due for an update lol
I will say this though, the trade mechanism is the best I've seen.

1. It tells you the points value of the trade based upon the Rich hill trade chart.

2. You need to provide the right value. Trading down from 4 and picking up a 2nd isn't so easy.

I tried it. Got some different names late. Don't quite understand the grading, but whatever.

Excellent mock.

The grades seem to be based upon where you drafted a prospect compared to their ranking so, for example, I drafted Kyle Williams at 69 but he's ranked at 109 and for that difference of 40 they graded me a D. I drafted Membou at 9, he's ranked at 7 so I got a B+.

This is the best simulator I've seen. The prospect ranking seems realistic and the trade system is only bettered by PFF. One tip. If you're offered a trade, the ones higher up the list seem to only include future picks. Don't forget to scroll down because trades with same mock picks seem to be at the bottom.

Another potential trade I've seen is that KC hold picks 63 and 66. The value of this ties in almost exactly with pick 38 so if you want to trade down in the 2nd........

I dunno. B+ for Carter at #4? Who was I supposed to take?

I redid the R1 and traded back with NO, took BPA Campbell, got a 2026 1st back but no day 2 pick. Gave me a B+ on the pick, A overall on draft value. Redid it again with Atl and took BPA Warren, got a 2026 1st again, a B+ again and an overall grade of a B+. Did it a third time, slid back with Bengals, same R1 for 2026, took position of need Barron and still got the B+, with an overall grade of B.

I am please you like the sim, and the value of the players seems more in line with what we are seeing with the "experts", but the grading seems completely rando to me. I know I am hung on up on it. It's fine I guess.
