Even if Fiedler signed with us I think he would have been the 3rd. I think no matter who the vet is he will just be an insurance policy if Cassel stinks up the joint. IMO it is clear Cassel will be the first QB off the bench if something was to happen to Brady.

Not going back and checking but I think at the time, he received more money and a better chance of playing..
