Sure, it would be easy enough to let the story die, but this is more fun

Felger goes up a notch in my book :rocker:

And as I said in another thread (but I think the post was buried due to timestamp issues), Dale & Holley had some clip about a guy talking about amplifying the crowd noise...if anyone knows who, when, what that clip was about, please share.

Anyone other than Felger, and this would have some weight.

Although his point about Samuel was spot on. He stunk on Sunday, and has been a B to B+ CB all year. This guy doesn't deserve a franchise tag salary, and won't be a huge loss to the Pats next year if they plan accordingly. He's a good, aggressive CB, but has been very inconsistent.

It was a channel 4 cameraman there to film for the news. He said he was talking to someone at the dome and said it was so loud he had a headache in the first quarter. The person he talked to, from Indianapolis, said that they amped the crowd noise with microphones in the stands.

That's as much as I heard/know.

One final note: We don’t believe CBS. It felt artificially loud at the RCA Dome.

For those arguing CBS had technical difficulties...

I saw this on the TV news last night, I believe on CBS they interviewed a cameraguy in the dome who said it was deafening loud in the 1st quarter, he had a major headache and asked a Colts official if he also thought it was too loud, the official replied they re-feed the noise from the crowd into amplifiers... then CBS interviewed a sound tech guy who showed just how easy it would be to do that.
