Hey guys

We've had the best team in the NFL since 2001 w/o question. We're always in the hunt for the SB and that's all anyone can ask. There have been countless memorable plays from our Pats over the past 15 years or so...give me your top 3 or top 5 (or top however many you'd like) Here are mine

1. Vinatieri's game-winning O.T. FG against Oakland in 2001 Divisional game-

When that kick went sailing through the uprights in the midst of a snowstorm, I started to really believe in the fairy tale season Earlier when Brady fumbled I turned the TV off and gave up on the game...but for some reason I turned it on 10 minutes later to see what else was on and we were going for the game-tying kick. Whaaaat? haha I'll never forget this one

2. Vinatieri's Super Bowl winning FG against the Rams- This is and always will be my favorite Super Bowl win. It was just a dream season. The last drive started the foundation for the greatest QB to ever play the game...Tom Brady. Also, Drew Bledsoe got a ring! Play for overtime eh John Madden?

3. The goal line stand against the Colts- I can't remember what year this was, '03 or '04, but I remember we stopped them 4 times inside the 5 yard line with no time on the clock to win. The image of Willie McGinest sprinting down the field in celebration is forever burned in my mind.

4. The Malcolm Butler Super Bowl INT- Other than Vinatieri's kicks I think this goes down as the most important play in team history. His quick read and goal line interception of Russell Wilson literally saved the game and season for our team and gave us our 4th Super Bowl. I went from saying "we had a good season" to jumping up and down and screaming like a little kid haha.

5. Rodney's pick 6 against Pittsburgh in AFC title game- This one iced it. I just remember Pitt being so hyped because of their rookie QB Ben Roethlisberger and that they were 15-1 in the regular season. The Pats came in there and took care of business with Harrison icing it with a pick 6 in the last few minutes.

Honorable mentions- Brady's game-winning TD pass to Kenbrell Thompkins against the Saints (Rob Ryan's facial expression was priceless), Ty Law absolutely hammering Marvin Harrison into the turf after an incomplete pass in the '03 AFC Championship, Welker's muffed punt with Denver in overtime, Pats recover and complete a monster comeback over Peyton and the Broncos, the Cundiff missed FG in the 2011 AFC title game, Mike Vrabel's TD catches in back to back Super Bowls.

Let's hear yours!

Butler, Vinatieri (Snow Bowl & SB 36), double pass.

Teardrop pass to LaFell for winning TD against Ravens 2014 divisional.

Block fg and run back in Pitt 01 Afccg.

Catch by Deion to set up winning fg against Panthers in 03 SB.

Punt to the 1 yard line for Eagles final drive in 04 SB.

The direct snap to Faulk with Brady flailing for the ball for a TD against Jacksonville. Hey Brunell, remember?

Someone mentioned that Brady has lost 17 games at home - in his 16 years as a player. They said it like he is beatable. But to loose 17 games in 16 years is crazy. I did a quick search and it does look like that could be close. Pretty impressive.

Brady's td pass to Wiggins to tie the game vs the Chargers in 2001. That game started Brady's legacy and without that comeback no Super Bowl.

The most vivid ones for me are:

- Ty Law's int for a TD in SB 36
- Intentional safety against Denver
- Edelman TD in SB 49. Also his catch on 3rd and 16 (I think) earlier in the game. That is my favorite Brady pass of all time.
- Troy Brown punt return for TD against Pit in 2001 AFCCG.
- Tedy Bruschi's int for a TD against MIA and the snow confetti.

He remembers. I saw him crying about it.

Randy Moss making a one-handed catch over middle against the Colts.

Love Troy Brown
Either his strip fumble to save an INT and keep a drive going, or his INT of Bledsoe against the jills

honorably mentioned, troys 2001 season all of it

All great choices. I was hoping the safety in Denver would come up.

Big Vince was also involved with a few memorable plays, starting with the butt-fumble. He also had a couple of picks with long runs and a couple of great hits in coverage. See ... now I miss the big fella.

My favorite Moss catch was a TD vs Miami when he was double-teamed and caught a long pass with his back to the ball by grabbing it with the inside of his elbow. It's the greatest catch of all time. I'll have to see if I can find it.

As for one handed catches, Gronk's vs Denver was better.

Not in any particular order:

1. Butler's pick SB 49
2. Troy Brown's strip fumble 2006 AFCCG
3. Patriots two time 14 point comebacks against the Ravens. AFCDG 2014
4. Willie McGinest stuffing Edgerrin James on the 2 yard line.
5. SB 36. Vinatieri kick plus Troy Browns reception to set it up. ( Wiggins helped setting that up)
6. SB 49. Tom Brady's record breaking performance capped with an Edelman TD to complete a record 4th qtr comeback.

"Favourites" are the ones you like the most, so please don't tell me that other plays were "better" -- it's not relevant. Here's why I love them.

The Gronk play against Washington was stupendous because it showed us quite what a beast he was -- an extraordinary catch and then a piece of running that absolutely shook the defenders to pieces.

As for the Moss catch against the Colts, it showed something that Randy was supposed not to have: flat-out bravery, exposing himself to defenders as he goes over the middle. Again, once you saw it, you knew that this wasn't just a supremely talented show-off player, but one that would make any team better.

That 50th TD throw by TB was pretty magical it single handedly capped 2 records in effort to get the team to 16-0.

The lateral to Edelman/TD pass to Amendola against Baltimore in the 2014 playoffs.

The Bruschi interception where he throws snow into the air and the whole stadium erupts in snow fireworks.
