Yeah I used to get depressed by this time of the year with how fast the season goes, but this season has been so bad that I'm almost wishing it to end already, but no because that would fast forward the process of getting old so go slow father time, why are you in such a hurry these days.

I must be the only one who relates to what the OP was feeling. It doesn't feel like the Pats have already played 8 games- feels like maybe 2 or 3. Probably due to the almighty goat being out for 4. And with no unreasonably bad luck with injuries we should be watching the Greatest Dynasty in NFL History into February. But it always feels too short. Unlike, say, back in 1991.

If you were an adult, at least you could have drank your season woes away. As a kid, I went outside and played backyard football and pretended the Pats were good.

Then again, I was living in Virginia and they didn't even bother to put Patriots scores in the newspaper I don't think, let alone anything news related except the whole sexual harassment thing.

then again, some of the games have been so bad that it might seem like they've all been playing for a much longer time...
