So maybe the 4 of them went to buy some weed, and something went wrong, and one of them was either killed on the spot or taken by the dealers.

Then instead of reporting it to police, because it was drug related and AHern wanted to keep it under wraps

Of the speculation I've seen, this is easily one of the more plausible narratives.

He should have just hid in a boat parked in a driveway. That always works well.

Sad but if you hang with thugs you go down with thugs.

Its hard to believe anyone can be this stupid.

Let me put another angle on that for you -

"Unfortunately, if you ARE a thug, you go down like a thug... every once in a blue moon.
For you see, MOST of the time, thugs get away with being thugs their entire lives and leave a wake of damage in others'."

and...

"it's easy... EASY to believe someone, ANYone can be that stupid."

People around here think that the moment you join this fairy-tale-like society called The New England Patriots, that all past personality defects are magically washed away. It's as if nothing that was a past bad influence is an issue anymore. Wrong.
It's not like it's anything a white suburbanite can wrap his mind around tho, which is what this board is mainly comprised of.

Just as likely is that the murdered fellow left the others using the other car to o meet his guy for a buy and was killed. Perceived lack of cooperation could be because of drugs not involvement in a murder. Just the drug aspect would have enough of an effect on a career to cause someone to lawyer up. This is all speculation but I don’t understand why so many people are jumping to either that he was the triggerman or there.

That is a reasonable observation but I can tell you as a police officer that those MSP Homicide detectives likely made it clear that they could care less if he was buying weed. Think of it this way, when faced with the possibility of admitting buying marijuana or being potentionally implicated in a homicide which would the reasonable person choose?

I doubt he's choosing to remain uncooperative with a homicide investigation simply because he (may) do drugs.

Enough with the theories here, it will all come out soon enough. And let's be real, it's not going to end well for him.

Letting welker go for because of 2 million dollars looks great right now

What?

That's utter nonsense. Welker wanted 3 years at 24 mil, 8mil per year.

He got no offers to match that.

If his initial demand was just 2 years at 6 mil per; the deal would've happened.

The Patriots cannot just sit around waiting for Welker to realize his value 2 days into FA.

Ugh, fans like you need to get it straight.

Any confirmations if AHern is driving the white Audi?

Stop being delusional.. This is the biggest NFL story since OJ

It's not even close to the level that the OJ case was on, but nice try though.

News from Twitter is that he's meeting with his attorney to turn himself in.

Still can't believe his Tuesday morning tweet. ******* dip****.

Aaron Hernandez ?@AaronHernandez 18 Jun

good morning

Latest NESN report says police believe this is drug related (marijuana specifically) and that they want to access a hard drive on a sophisticated surveillance system in his house.

I understand the drug game and drug deals are inherently violent, but marijuana, really? If some random suburban 12-year old can acquire that drug without issue, shouldn't a multi-millionaire athlete be able to? But, I know it's all about the company you keep and it just goes to show you, the fame and money does not make it easy to make your past go away. This is yet another lesson for the Patriots and any NFL team that they should find a way to be more active in helping their players free themselves from their upbringings. These players are investments, and it's in the best interest of the teams and the league to find a way to turn these kids into adults.

Why are people entertaining posts by MossWelkowski? Hasn't he/she been exposed as a Jets troll?

He's pulling in Gillette.

Right now we don't know if Aaron was involved or not

What I do know is that Aaron has a baby girl,a beautiful home and a contract that will keep him financially free for the rest of his life if he spends smartly.

The problem is that Aaron seems to be keeping in touch with friends from his older days and these friends appear to me to be bad seeds.

If he is innocent and somehow escapes this murder,he needs to dump his old school friends and find better people to be friends and associates,it's stupid to hang out with guys who are trouble...hopefully getting together with these old chums does not cost him his freedom, his football career and his family.

Ya.

I want to see the evidence that four men left Hernandez's house and only three came back.

Plus I also want the text message verbatim, did he distinctly say he was in the car with him or was he just with him and could have drove the rental car.

Then there is also your scenario where he did come back with them but left to go make a drug deal down the road.

I mean clearly you don't setup one at someones house or even anywhere close but an industrial park down the road seems like an ideal place.

He parked, looking up at choppers. I think in a Pats sweater.

He's at Gillette, just ran inside. WTF.
