I think Bill Sees a proliferation of teams going with a base nickel with LBs getting smaller and the extinction of in the box safeties and he wants to exploit it.

He has a great qb so the passing game will still be there further taxing the defense.

Exactly. This is not a running team to the point that we cannot win by passing (a la Baltimore). If (big if) they stop the run, another, bigger monster in a pissed off Brady appears. If then in trying to stop Brady they forget about the run, the run game will reappear.

Even if Harry is a great blocking WR, we need a blocking tight end we can depend on. Besides loosing our left tackle we lost the best two blocking tight ends in the league.

BB seems to be placing a lot of faith in one or LaCosse/Izzo to replace at least one of Gronk and Allen. We need them to show up in the run blocking and the pass blocking scheme. Having a rookie at left tackle makes it even more of a need and from the outside a real weakness in the roster. Maybe something will fall out at roster cut downs.

No, but they may be placing a lot more hope in Jenkins staying healthy. Jenkins is a plus TE when on the field.
