Everyone picking Bengals...and i love it

I've never had a problem with opposing fans, former players or mediots who pick against our team. It's the Pats fans that pick against us that tick me off. Unless it's in the predict the score pool and they think it will help the Pats win. That's taking one for the team.

If we get to the halfway point of the season and we're languishing around the 3-5 or 2-6 mark, THEN we can start to get a little scared, but even then I'd feel like BB and the troops could pull it together.

Those who lack confidence in this team have very short memories.

The Bengals beat a traditionally slow starting Ravens team on the road, but then had pretty easy games at home against two teams with a combined 3-6 record. They aren't the second coming of the 07 Pats quite yet.

My biggest concern is that they're coming off a bye week and have had a lot of time to rest up and prepare for the Pats.

With the brutal schedule the Pats have this year, they really need this game to stay in the race for the top seed.

It is a different Patriots team that would excel in the underdog role. People every year come out with these threads "I love that we are not favored to win!" or "Look out, Brady is going to be PISSED next week, we are going to destroy them!" It just doesn't work like that. Not lately.

Doesn't mean you can't watch the game and hope for the best but it's really hard to fault anyone picking Cincinatti.
