You don’t even have to go to school anymore to be a journalist.

Somewhere between the 90’s and now the old “unnamed sources” became a joke. It was seldom used back in the day, and depending on the journalist, it was used because he has some kind if good relationship with the team and some players.

I assume most of these hacks have none of that. The industry is just polluted right now and it’s never going to get better until stricter standards are put in place.

He took jealous comments from officials from other teams and wove a story out of those comments. It's what he does, not even sure the National Inquirer would take him.
