".....Multiple sources inside and outside of ESPN tell The Big Lead that the network will be laying off “200 to 300” employees in the coming months.

These are the first ESPN layoffs since 2013, and might not be the last, as Disney has notified ESPN to trim $100 million from the 2016 budget and $250 million in 2017......"

I'd like FoxSportsOne become a legitimate rival to ESPN, so I'd love to see that station grab some of the talent that gets cut, assuming any of it actually does (I'd love to see Schefter head over, but that's a pipe dream).

I hate ESPN, but I never want to see something like this. Unfortunately, most of the people laid off will be behind the scenes workers who don't make high six to seven figures as on air talent.

What a shame. the fuerhers propaganda team might be getting restless. And that huge media contract krafty stuck them with...

For the record, i don't want to see anyone getting fired...Except goodell, Kensil, Pash, etc.

Even Mort is just...well

They plan to outsource much of the work to inexpensive Chinese and Mexican sportscasters. Translations will scroll at the bottom of the screen.

I'd prefer it to what we have now

Based on life experiences. the people you want to stick it too get away and the subordinates suffer.
