No, I'm just googling to find comparative situations and pretending to know about them.

In all honesty I was so happy watching the Bills celebrate at the Ravens misfortune ( which was the actual root of my happiness) that I too donated $17.00 to the Andy Dalton Foundation for Red Headed Step Children

Didn't get info does not equal didn't read the story.

Are you claiming that if he didn't read the story there's no way he could know what it was about?

I'm claiming that he couldn't honestly accept the wording of the statement without first having read the reports, because he wouldn't know the accuracy of the statement without doing so.

But he's a 5 Star General Patton type of person not a ignorant French type General. so in the context of his approach, he'd have the information and use to his advantage, not his adversaries. As the exceptional intel guy that he is, he must be knowledge-able of it, trying to figure what if any portions of it matter, and using that to make his position, the organizations, and whatever else better but only if that kind of stuff impacts anyone within, which seems somewhat plausible if information is getting to the author. Most people aren't like him, and the probability of these things getting leaked is probably high, again probably. If it's all garbage, easily dismissed, if it isn't he just manages it supremely and the guy could've been a high ranking officer in the military, it's amazing. Clearly all of the outside influences haven't affected the organizations performance so why would this?

He could easily have done so. A PR person could tell him ESPN printed a story claiming X, Y, and Z and they want to put out a response.

Another troll?

No, he couldn't have done that and been honest, because he'd have to know the precise wording. You're trying too hard.

Nobody believed it when it happened, but Ralph Wilson threw out Bill Polian and in all of Buffalo's history of stupid moves, that one is number 1 on the list. The problem with these "reports" is there some truth, some exaggeration, and some nonsense all together. Granted, New England has endured such a long run of excellence the probability of implosion gets greater with every year, so does the probability of excellence dimensioning (statistically). As an outsider trying to be objective and experience the bickering bills, the Owner/GM/QB success feuds (yes those happened when the bills were good for that stretch), all I can say is that taking a position of absolute is a poor one. This happens in everything that has power and success. Hopefully what happens is, they all take their SB win this year or next or whenever that moment before it's obvious you waited too long, and hang it up for their own sake and go out on a high note. It's just a poor showing to keep stringing this out until that one season where brady gets really hurt, egos end up getting the best of each other, whatever, do not ask for the Bill Polian situation. Take your winnings, and go home, which is the hardest thing for people like them to do.

**** post.

Not our fault your team sux. We've built excellence beyond comprehension and we're supposed to walk away.

You have 0 QB to truly compete. Holes in several places. And a coach who looks like a child every time a call goes against Buffalo. Plenty to talk about w Bills fans

Belichick just scoffed at the idea he met with Goodell last week. He said the last time he saw Goodell was in Mexico City just before that game against Oakland.

He just acknowledged it. While still claiming he hadn't read the article, he stated that he was informed, and his response was BASED ON PASSAGES, so he did read it/have it read to him, at least partly. And that had to have happened for him to be able to put out a statement that wasn't fraudulent.

In other words, and as I'd posted.... shady.

Which, by the way, I have no problem with.

Also, look to the local media twitter feeds for some interesting statements on the general subject, from BB, as he's being relatively loquacious about it in this interview.

And the poster known as former fan continues to clown himself. This is like a BOGO sale.

Oh but they are close friends now. I bet they bro-hugged it out and had a margarita afterwards

Belichick said his reported meeting with Roger Goodell was "absolutely not true." Hasn't seen him since Mexico City game.

I think someone from the Pats organization trolled Wickersham. His article has been blown to pieces.

Wickersham's been cranking out misleading/false/lazy articles for some time. He gets away with it because the media circles the wagons. If he was pulling this crap in the real world, he'd be jobless.

"Well, some of it is true" has been the rallying cry for this article. That's just another example of how far journalism has fallen.

Holley and Dale are analyzing Seth like I was hoping from day 1. Some good stuff finally from WEEI . BTW I forgot that Matt Cassel made the 2010 Probowl and had some good years.

BB said I wouldn't know Seth if he was sitting in that chair

It seems like the sources were pro Jimmy and Bill and not much in the know as Seth thought they were.

The “Patriot of the Week” and Brady being called “Sir” was a nice touch. Bet they could not believe Wickersham actually went with that stuff. Someone just scored the prank of the decade.

Good stuff coming out from Belichick. This is a non-story. Even if Belichick doesn't really have a good relationship (contrary to what he said) with Guerrero it doesn't seem to have caused any serious issues.

WickerSHAM, what a douche. As long as Belichick, Brady and Kraft are cool this 'story' is pretty much irrelevant.
