Now that's just nonsense. The defense was the problem in the AFCCG, but the offense was what failed the team against the Giants. All you need to do is look at the scoreboard to figure that out.

the offensive line, not brady. Brady was amazing. If the Giants didnt have a miracle drive, brady would have been mvp.

Sometimes games are not high scoring, sometimes defenses play well - thats just how it is. If you've played sports of any kind, you know what I'm talking about. Each game is different by nature. The offense did enough to win - despite its struggles, despite the Giants playing so well.

The ball didn't bounce off Tyree's head. Brady and the offense didn't score even 20 points. Game's over, the most prolific offense in NFL history failed.

So if im not mistaken , your blaming Brady for the SB loss. .that is pretty assinine.. Look no one knows what is going to happen, but this is too much money to be tied up in 2 players that have alot of question marks..

Brady wasn't amazing, as he admitted himself. Part of the problem was his limited mobility, but he also missed a lot of open receivers in the game.

Look, I think Brady is the G.O.A.T., but let's not pretend he's God on Earth.

he wasnt gonna blame his o-line, he had no time agianst 4-5 man pass rushes, threw no picks and led a game winning drive. You dont need great numbers to play amazing, brady did.

Im not mistaken that is a assinine remark.. Look you have your opinion, but Brady was not the fault of that game.. And who knows what is the story.. But to blame Bradys is very ignorant.. The defense lost the game.. , you can say the o did not score enough points, but the defense let up when it counted.. AGAIN

The Patriots hadn't been held to under 20 points all season long. The defense had allowed an average of 17 points per game during the year. The defense allowed only that 17 points in the Super Bowl. Anyone blaming the defense when the offense only mustered up 14 points is just not accepting reality. If all the offense does is match its WORST output of the season, the Patriots win the Super Bowl.

You are mistaken. That's actually abundantly clear.

did you watch the game, your looking at numbers to much, the offence didnt turn the ball over and took the lead late. It wasnt there fault. The defence didnt do a bad job but folded when it mattered.

Yes, I watched the game, and the numbers do matter. I posted on this before, and I'm not going to hunt down the stuff again. All you have to do is go back in history. Go look up all the scores in past Super Bowls and count up all the teams that won scoring fewer than 17 points.

it was a defensive game. The O took care of the ball and scored when it mattered, then the giants got lucky on the final drive. **** happens, if the giants didnt get lucky brady was the mvp of the game

Again..... go look up the number. Out of all the Super Bowls played, how many have been won with less than 17 points scored by the winning team?

P.S. When was the last time it has happened prior to the Giants pulling it off?

Not necessarily. To be precise, the guarantee is against: (1) comparative lack of skill; (2) injury while performing the duties of his contract; and (3) being waived to create salary cap room.
.

Right, it was guaranteed in all those instances, once he signed the tender. Had he NOT signed the tender it would not have been guaranteed and the Patriots could have revoked the offer at any time. It was just common sense that he would sign and be assured of $14.5 million.

go look up how many teams have won the turnover battle and lost the game, and how many teams lost when having the lead with under 3 minutes left. Brady played great.

and how many qb's have had 80 yard td drives to take the lead with under 3 minutes left.
ps-brady has 3 by himself

You keep avoiding simple things such as the scoring question.

How may teams have scored fewer than 17 points and won, and when was the last time it had happened prior to the Giants doing it?

who gives a crap, your looking at the numbers to much. Brady was great and it deff wasnt his fault only 14 points were scored. The pats were dominated up front.

He hasn't proven that in the last 3 years.

38-10 in the regular season and 5-3 in the post-season isn't good enough for you. ?? Please tell me that I missed the sarcasm smiley and you're kidding

Again, you are just avoiding the obvious. First it was the defense at fault, and now it's because they were dominated up front. What's next? Brady threw the ball 48 times, but only got 266 yards and 1 touchdown. He missed a wide open receiver on 4th down when the team opted not to go for a field goal.

I don't blame Brady for the loss, and I've been one who's blamed it on the offensive line from the very beginning. But let's not pretend that Brady had some great game and came up huge, because he didn't.

Read SWheeler's posts leading up to that one of mine.....
