Agreed, this is all good food for thought. From a Pats fan perspective, we were spoiled with many years of stability at tackle, Light, Vollmer, even Solder (who was not all that great), a couple good years from Trent Brown, only to see it all dissipate with Wynn and the rest. Now we dread the position.that is reasonable, rational argument.
About bust rates though - how many WR's are on any given teams roster? 5, 6? maybe more? How many LT's? 1, 2 if you are lucky? statistically, you are more likely to reach on a LT than you are a WR due to the scarcity of players... ie its harder to find a good left tackle than it is to find a good WR...
does campbell have his work cut out for him? yes he does... but then again, the NFL isnt going to lay down for Travis Hunter... He's got his work cut out for him too if he wants to be a success...
At least at WR they've made do with FAs and the few guys who panned out.
