I agree. Two safeties? No RB? The only day 3 pick i like is Seth McLaughlin in round 7, but i really cant see him lasting that long.No......Round 1 and 2 were fine, the rest not so much.
Conerly is more polished than Membou, Simmons, Banks and others. The only one who is more ready is Campbell. Not acceptable. I don't want a Left Tackle who is a project

Mostly yes. Hunter is the dream scenario at 4. I’d be thrilled with Conerly at 38, a long term option at LT. Ayomanor at 69 seems redundant with Polk, who I think we have to hope gets a clean slate. Would rather that pick be used on another OL like Ersary or Trapilo or maybe one of the guards. The 4th round pick I would’ve preferred a RB like Bhayshul Tuten or Damien Martinez.

I don't think it'd be a "waste". Diggs' deal is likely only for 2 years, and wouldn't surprise me if there are outs after 1. Boutte and Douglas get propped up because they're the best we have but they're such "meh" players and each will be FAs in 2 years. Polk/Baker both looked like busts. None of those guys are Xs and Hunter might be more Z than X too.My opinion is Travis Hunter will primarily be a WR, and a likely #1 WR.
With Diggs and Boutte+Douglas etc, it seems a waste to draft a WR in the 3rd. Tackles Banks and Simmons in the 20's would be good trade up targets.
But if they are staying and drafting and end up Hunter and Conerly then fine, after that's a crap shoot anyways.
I'd rather look RB, center, safety or TE in 3rd as those positions are less valued and more likely to succeed coming out of the 3rd round, assuming there are players at those positions rated high enough.
Just don't see room to make the roster. Diggs, Hollins, Boutte, Hunter, Douglas are in and then Bourne played well under Josh.I don't think it'd be a "waste". I wouldn't run to draft a WR, but if the board dictates one I think it's welcome addition, particularly someone who projects as an X.
can't argue that. some players are greater development projects than others thoughThey all are projects this draft
