Archie was actually pretty good, just that the Saints team overall was very bad while he was there. He is horrible ... he has some physical tools and little to no NFL QB brain.
Much closer to Archie I would say.
What a waste of the #1 pick ... perhaps they will give us all their picks to aquire a new QB?
Archie was a much better QB than Eli.

Archie was an excellant QB who played for a horrible team. IIRC, he was the leauge MVP once.
Do you mean that Archie threw a lot of INTs? If so, you can't compare QB stats then and now. For example Joe Namath had 173 TDs and 220 INTs and he's in the HOF. They used to let DBs pound the crap out of receivers all the way down the field. Now we have the 5 yard rule and the "Polian rules".I agree somewhat ... but those INT's ... a Manning tradition perhaps?
