According to TMZ, Jones was struck in the head with a giant champagne bottle swung by a stripper named Sweet Pea on a party bus celebrating left tackle Bryant McKinnie’s birthday.

Actually you are right about that Kontra, in fact I've been pretty impressed with him, from what I've seen. But in the interest of comedy (?) he was the best available ESPN tie-in I could think of.
