Edelman was a beast today

So close to deserving the MVP, definitely Brady deserved it but Edelman was a close second.

I thought Jules would get MVP but glad TB adds to his resume with regard to GOAT.

Edelman just got better and better over the past two years. Few expected his growth into a #1 WR (or #2 QB...)
Good for him. He shredded the best pass defense in the NFL. He just consistently gets open, and consistently makes tough catches.

Earlier in his career he was constantly injured. This season he took the tough hits over the middle, held on, and got back up.

I agreed - after the game, I called Edelman for Super Bowl MVP.

You could tell he was in excruciating pain, but that little guy just doesn't know the meaning of the word quit. We are lucky to have him on the team. He plays with real heart, the anti-L. Tomlinson.

FWIW, when it happened concussion never crossed my mind and I think people are grasping at straws. It looked to me like it was his hip flaring up, the way he made that catch seemed to tweak it. And he didn't appear to be woozy, at least to me.

Edleman is SLAMMING Steve Young on WEEI right now.

He should have been MVP but it's tough not to give it to Brady, he earned it too
