frank mentioned at two different times that julian's situation with his daughter was difficult, so i interpreted that to mean that his relationship with the mother isn't amicable. or maybe they are friendly but she lives elsewhere.

I'm pretty sure its the latter
From what I recall originally, he knocked up a Swedish model (not sure where it occurred) and she moved to Massachusetts to more effectively litigate child support. So I'm guessing she lives in Mass., but that would have to be confirmed.

who knows how long youtube will leave this up. watch it while you can:

Many thanks for posting this, I was able to cast it to my TV last night. I'm not sure when this would of aired in Canada.

Thanks, that was excellent.

As nervous as I get when I watch the Pats it has to be far worse for the parent of a player.

I was surprised that Wahlberg stayed for the whole show.

Tough times don't last. Tough people do.

The video is down, anyone else got a link on dailymotion or viemo that they can share please?

YouTube TV has free Showtime in my area, so I was able to watch it last night. Couple of notes:
  • Tom comes across as a stiff through most of when he's on. That may be because Jules is pretty glib throughout, so Tom suffers in comparison.
  • Most of it was about the time between the knee injury and the return. Would've liked to see more. I guess it's there, but I would've liked to see more about his early days.
  • Dead on Belichick impression.
I thoroughly enjoyed it, it's good Pats porn for the off-season.

Love Edelman, but sorry, not great and boring.

Best line from Brady: He's the younger brother I never had or wanted.
One of my all time favorite Patriots ever but this wasn’t a great documentary. The timeline was a little scattered and I don’t feel like I came away knowing anything new. We know the story. He’s an underdog who came from nothing and now he’s a superstar. I don’t really know why the random celebrities were in there (I think Erin Andrews only words were “I don’t know what he tested positive for”). I don’t know if Snoop Dog reading the suspension letter was supposed to be ironic or what but it seemed weird as well. There also seemed to be a lot of filler montages that ran a little long. I thought it could have been redeemed if he got more into the failed PED test but it was all pretty vague.

You summed up my thoughts pretty well.

The only thing I didn't know (at least to the extent) was how involved his dad was to his football development.
