Who do you see as the winners so far, those who have improved their chances of making the 53, or of getting major reps.

My short list: Gibson, Boyce, Bolden, Roberts

Heard on the radio Roberts leads the camp with 6 PBUs.

He is making himself had to cut. Makes you not want to risk losing him to try to get him on the PS.

Morris looks like the teams 4th LB

Agreed.

I guess that I forgot Morris since almost all the media and almost of us made this conclusion a few weeks ago.

But, of course, you are correct. Morris certainly could have been injured or looked bad in camp.

From what I have seen.

Big Winner DA. He was looking like the second best WR until Jules went down now he looks like the best. Hard to imagine he won't earn a bigger role via his play thus far.

Other winners:
Logan Ryan: read some down notes the last day or two but when I was there I thought he easily looked like our 2nd best corner.

Malcom Brown: so far so good with the reps he's getting he might be a day one starter.

Tre Jackson and Shaq Mason: so far so good with the reps they getting they might be a day one starters too though one likely will sit for Wendy.

Jonas Gray. Looks to be stepping into a role as our second best back. IMO and in order Blount, Gray, Bolden are a top this group. Not sure who is winning between White, Cadet, and Lewis but this is the order I go with.

And last but certainly not least Kessler.

This cat has many lives.. as a TE or DE????

Well, they say he improved his chances. If he can back up both and play teams hat improves his chances. Belichick does love that in a backup.

Players I remember reading good things about:

WR: Amendola, Dobson, Gibson, Boyce
TE: Bequette
OL: Jackson
DL: Easley, Flowers
LB: Morris
CB: Butler, Ryan, Brown, Roberts
S: Richards, Wilson

Of all those, the only one I don't think (at this time, before guys come off PUP and take spots from the bubble players) will make the team is Bequette. Before TC, I didn't necessarily feel too good about including Dobson, Boyce, Morris, or Wilson on my 53, and Boyce just made it onto my projection today.

Tarrel Brown went from question mark to possible starter. Dobson, before missing some camp.

I'd like to say Shaq Mason but I think Wendell ends up starting at LG. however, I think Tre Jackson has established himself at RG.

He presumably still has a long way to go, but Mason may wind up being the starter whenever Stork or Wendell is hurt.

(I'm assuming that even if he's a starting guard, Wendell will also be the first backup at center. That's not a given, but it feels like the way to bet.)

Morris was my binky last year. I was bummed when he got hurt. I'm glad he's looking good again.

I understand that versatility is important and all, but for those of you in the know, has he stood out at all in camp?

Brown...having a REALLY good camp (CB)
