Drake Maye WEEI Interview 10/21 (He sounds more like a leader than Mayo)

I heard Bedard say he cleaned up most of his issues he had in his first start against Jags showing he is a fast learner too.

Again, I had concerns about starting him too quickly could lead to him developing bad habits. The fact that he is showing observable improvement week to week is a very positive sign and relives a lot of my fears of a bad team ruining a young QB.

Maye just have a Ton of talent some guys can live off that.

Through two games it seems Drake Maye can be a legit QB for the Patriots for 10 years. Who knows if he'll deliver titles, go to pro bowls, etc....But it is pretty clear he can be what the team was looking for when they drafted him. Who knows if Krafty Bob will actually give Maye a second contract. With an average defense, and average line, a legitimate "go to" receiver they should be a competitive team next season....but all those are dependent on the owner actually splashing cash and the talent evaluators being good at their job....Elliot Wolf's firs draft is panning out to be a complete disaster. You can't give him any credit for Maye - everyone knew it was Maye....Polk, Baker, Wallace, Robinson, and the cavalcade of guys who will never see a second Kraft Bob contract are a testament to Wolf's futility

Agreed, they can’t afford to **** around another year with this roster. And im guessing they wont move on from mayo after this year but theyd better take a close hard look at next season and see if we need to make a move for 2026.

The facial expressions while he's listening to the questions are hilarious. I mentioned it in the thing that I wrote, but he talks like Brady but looks like Gronk when he's listening to reporters ask him something. It's pretty funny.

Those have got to all be from his dad or granddad. I also noticed that he's a good listener and answers the questions.
