I watched the highlights this morning and it seemed like Henry was trailing a bit and was open but Drake didn't see it
Still a very dumb INT but especially at that point in the game. But he's 23 and will have mistakes like that and he'll learn
As someone I read this weekend pointed out, remember they have a ground-level view of the field. We at home basically always have a better view of the defense than the QB does.Just saw the All 22 and Drake seemed to lock in on Mack working his way back to Drake's side. Looked like Douglas's guy fell down and he was WIDE OPEN. Some of the great scramblers are always scanning during the scramble drills. Wish Maye could have held his ground on the right side of the pocket and took one more quick look at Douglas before locking in on Mack again. I mean it's not like Mack had a step on the safety that ran with him. Just one more peak before coming back to Mack would have been nice.
Then again, it's easier said than done when you have an armchair quarterback like myself with a birds eye view.
Evidence 500,231 that he is HIM. Just listen to this inteview. Good luck NFL.
Mac Jones has done it 3 times this season. Go figure.Fun fact: though he's been close Drake Maye hasn't thrown for 300yds in a game thus far. I'm going out on a limb and say he does it at least twice over our next three games.
lol,He already looks better than Trevor Lawrence ever has. You hope heis better than Kyler and Purdy etc.
Do you mean it's too early to suggest he is better than those guys. Or it's a ridiculous comparison because he has surpassed them AINEC type thing?lol,
Who is making these comps? It feels out of reality.
I think his potential and what we have seen makes it ridiculous to compare to those listed.Do you mean it's too early to suggest he is better than those guys. Or it's a ridiculous comparison because he has surpassed them AINEC type thing?
The Jags would pack Lawrence's bags and drive him to the airport if the Patriots traded Maye for him. Lawrence has been a major dissapointment. Some mediot jackass wrote a few weeks ago that Maye's ceiling was Trevor Lawrence. Lawrence could only dream of being within a mile of Drake Maye's floor.
Kyler Murray, Brock Purdy comps are ludicrous.
