Nah Josh is done as a head coach imo. If you leave twice and your players are glad you’re gone both times that’s not a great sign for your future in that role.
It really is a different job, and he's in the comfortable position of being able to pick between them.
HC: More money, more visibility, more decisions to make, more glory if you win and more blame if you fail.
OC: Less money (negative), less visibility (positive), fewer decisions to make (positive), less scope as OC but more control
Given the man is financially comfortable and will always live in the after-glow of the Brady Era, I'm not sure he wants/needs to be in the Big Chair.
Given he's failed miserably the two times he tried that gig I really question why he'd want to try a third time, unless he's more ego-driven than I think he is.
GIven how great he is as an OC and how less-than-great his two HC gigs went, I wonder why he'd want to leave his comfort zone.
