Draft worst case has emerged for Pats at 4

BPA or trade down if Hunter and Carter are gone. I'm not convinced Campbell is the 4th best overall prospect in the Draft (I'd rank Graham, Warren, and Jeanty ahead of him) and I don't believe in drafting for need ahead of drafting the actual best player available given the team's lack of playmakers, because that's how this team got in trouble last year's Draft. But it doesn't matter what I think. I can only hope whatever Vrabel and Co. decide on ends up being the right call.

Who's the Second Best QB in this Draft?? S Sanders or J Dart??

Cleveland - Giants - Raiders - Jets and Saints all need QB's. J Milroe is a possibility for all but he ain't pro ready. I'm a huge fan of J Dart... people are sleeping on Q Ewers.

Left Tackle. Prefer Simmons, will accept Campbell.

It is the best pick the Pats can make this year.
Am I wrong to get Trent Brown vibes from Simmons?

If that’s how it falls
1: trade down, doubtful though
2: Campbell or Jeanty. Either one but preferably the LT, I don’t give a rats ass about his arms. Less chance of a ref seeing the hold.

I'd be on the phone with Jeffrey Lurie and Howie Roseman. They could use Mason Graham.

The Eagles are picking low this year and likely next year too. The value of the picks alone wouldn't be enough for the 4th overall, they'd need to include a young contributor. If the Eagles aren't trading AJ Brown (and I have no reason to believe they will), then I don't see the point.

There will be multiple non-QB pro bowlers/all pros taken outside of Carter/Hunter. It's obviously a harder decision to parse through if they can't get one of those 2 guys, but that's why the scouts get paid.

the entire PHI draft isn't worth close to the #4
Normally I'd agree but this is a crap draft. So we ask for a 1st and 2nd next year along with the majority of this class. They obviously have no need for all those picks.

If that is what you get from him, thats what you get... I doubt he is getting taken at 4 anyways

What’s going to happen if BOTH hunter and Carter are available at 4?

6) Las Vegas Raiders
7) New York Jets
8) Carolina Panthers (unlikely but not totally absurd, Bryce Young was a bust less than a year ago, they have no obligation to stick to that plan)
9) New Orleans Saints
14) Indianapolis Colts

There will be a small market for Sanders, remains to be seen if it's interesting for the Patriots or not. If the Raiders wants to guarantee their player, it might cost only a 3rd. For all the other teams though, a 2nd or a package of 3rds.

Not saying it is the same, but a lot of people lost their minds when BB passed up David Terrell for Richard Seymour.
It's always a valid point. And a fun memory.

That draft also only had one QB in Vick.

But I think the rest of the top ten talent was very good much better than this year.
