Having watched every single draft for the last 10 years or so I find the coverage is always fun, but I would like to see a couple of changes:

1) Show more highlights and less blabbing. We get something like 30 seconds of highlights, 4 minutes of commercials, the rest is yack, yack, yack. Please give us more highlights and fewer sportswriters.

2) Less obsessing on one player. If seems that each year the draft gurus obsess on one player who disappears in the NFL; it is like the peak of his career was the Draft and you never hear about him again. A couple of years ago it was Brady Quinn, this year it will be Tebow.

Have a camera trained on me as the Patriots pass on yet another pass rusher! It will be an instant classic rant I can promise you!!!!

My post draft rants are epic around here, and might I add, usually spot on in their criticism of the picks (aside from the "Pats should have taken Terrell instead of Seymour one back in '00< why don't y'all just forget about that one).

Start by watching NFLN's coverage, not ESPN's. Not that NFLN's couldn't be improved but it's far better, IMO, than ESPN's. I won't be watching live this year as I'll be at my kids' soccer practice so I'll have to record one to watch when I get back and NFLN is definitely the choice.

I like NFL Networks commentary a lot more, but they can't even come close to rivaling ESPN's presentation of the draft. The info about each team, the clock, the team who's on the clock, who's next, Kipers' best available, NFL primetime music during a prospects highlights, "pick is in", the little sound as "current selection" pops up and you see who the team took...

NFL Network's presentation of the draft is bland in comparison to ESPN's. That said, ESPN sucks from round 3 on, so I generally watch NFL Network on my computer day 2, with ESPN in the background. Although, with the new draft format, I may just save NFL Network for day three.

ESPN's presentation is an order of magnitude better but I don't really care about that. Last year NFLN talked about the players more and better and that sold me.
