Draft Day 3 Thread

I don't see why the Pats let him go to Philly, instead of moving up for him in the 5th.

Oh well, plenty more guys we want left.

But if he turns out to be what we had hoped, I will consider this a huge missed opportunity for the Pats

Sapp is godawful against the run and can't move through traffic at all. He is a pass rusher period. Couple that with the concerns about his knee and it's very easy to see why the Patriots weren't willing to pick him earlier or trade up for him.

I'd have no problem taking Sapp if he fell to us at the bottom of the fifth, though.

Honestly, this draft class is making a lot of teams look good. Is there anybody having a bad draft?

da bearz... due to the Cutler trade, and other bad moves, they are mostly watching

and the Jags

If we must draft a RB, I'd hope we go with Blount. He's a powerful one-two punch in this system, both literally and figuratively.

Need DT and one of the top two RBs remaining IMO.

Would also settle for developmental RT 6-5 320lb to help drive the power running game.

I think you mean a DT that they'd make into a 3-4 DE..

As for RB, I don't see it unless the guy is good at short yardage.

The raiders up soon, who would love to see.

Pats are on the Clock. Thomas for the 5th. I just want him off the team.

anyone notice that Kiper has a long snapper as the 3rd best player available overall. that seems kinda wierd considering the talent that is out there

guess he is a center too, so nevermind.

OK, summing up: Jax, Chicago, Washington.

IOW, the only teams having a bad draft are the ones which traded out of it. That's about as positive statement as you can make about a draft class.

But with the Patriots having the "All-Character" draft........

raiders are now have to trade mcfadden cause they have to many now after that last draft pick

But here is THE question... Whoi do you think is having a better draft than the Pats? If anybody.

A TE plus lots of corners and safeties going in round 5, which is good for us, having no more needs there

Is Al Davis' wife last name McFadden?

Jets have traded into the 139 spot. Did they just trade Leon Washington?
