Who would have thought Douglas would already be more valuable than Welker and Edelman without ever playing a snap in the NFLperhaps one thing we can all agree on is that Douglas most likely will be too valuable as one of the teams WR to play ST.

if Marcus is pressed into playing starter snaps at CB (Jack Jones suspended or Jon Jones injury) I doubt he is the return manYeah, if Douglas doesn't play ST, it will be because they already have an All-Pro caliber return man in Marcus Jones, not because he's "too valuable" to play there.
They should have options now. If the defense comes off the field and they were out there a long time and they’re gassed they could roll Douglass or Bolden (if healthy) out there to return kicks.Yeah, if Douglas doesn't play ST, it will be because they already have an All-Pro caliber return man in Marcus Jones, not because he's "too valuable" to play there.

A fresh set of legs is always the best option.
This looks to be the play he got hurt on:
Van Ness got all is weight on top of him and drove him into the turf:
Looks like he was holding his right arm limp after he got up.
I don't disagree. But there have been several reports saying he's dealing with a shoulder injury (he's been limited at practice) and that play looks like the one it may have happened on.I think you just weren’t going to see many starters after the first quarter and Douglas is already in that group.
The bench warmers will play in game three, they’ll keep Douglas under wraps until the regular season. No reason to prepare opponents to be ready to defend him.
I think you are correct. not sure he took any other hits that would have him on the practice field but doing conditioning workI don't disagree.
