You might be right, but that's not to say the Titans front seven is hopeless. Taylor just hasn't seemed all that scary to me this year. Guess we'll find out soooooon!

PatsfaninPA, you may be on to something here: The Dolphins are 21st vs the pass this season and have given up the 4th most 20+ yard completions in the league.

The Fins are averaging 2.7 sacks per game, of which Joey Porter (2.5) and Jason Taylor (5.5) have combined for 8 of the 19 in 7 games.

Taylor as always is the most formidable Dolphin we'll see. I'd love to see Vollmer physically impose himself early and often, as Taylor is a great technician.

The Dolphins defense is conceding 236 yards per game in the air. It's clear this is their achilles on defense. A few early bombs to Moss is what I am hopeful of. That should warm up TB12 pretty nicely.

Don't forget that It wasn't the secondary that gave Brees trouble in the first half, it was the pressure up front. He doesn't throw 2 of those picks if his O-line does a better job picking up the blitz.

The only player in their secondary who has done all that much recently is Gabril Wilson. Their secondary has been awful a lot this year. That is why they lost to the Saints and Colts. They made Sanchez look great in the second half last week too.

Also, their pass rush hasn't been great this year either. Sanchez had enough time to eat a hotdog in the backfield on most of the plays in the second half.

I'm sorry but it's clear to me you don't watch the Dolphins games. Gibril Wilson has been dreadful despite improving the past two weeks. Our rookie corners have been okay with flashes of brilliance, our problem is that we have two strong safeties that are best suited around the box and get exposed in coverage.

Yeremiah Bell and Gibril Wilson have been below average this year and our pass rush hasn't been any better than average. That's why we're getting torched this year.

Heh. That's pretty much exactly what Rob said. But I do agree, for what it's worth. Why isn't Cameron Wake playing more? That man is a beast in the pass rush.

considering they double moss and if they get pressure upfront the 3rd receiver becomes interesting to watch and the pats havent had a big threat in that area this seaosn even though aiken has shown flashes.

the bucks had Aqib Talib and Ronde Barber two of the better starting corner's in the NFL and they had good young run stoping LB's but there front 4 is not great and they could not get much of a passrush on brady

the titans are just bad

the fish are 6th in the NFL in sack's so there corner's will look better then the bucks if taylor and porter can get to brady

and if the pats cant stop there runing game the dolphins D will be fresh

but with 2 week's to get redy for a team that is 3 and 4 the pats should win

not the same way they beat the bucks and titans but by at lest 7 points

What number is Wake? I am going to the game & want to watch for him.

I was about to say the same thing. Gibril has burned us with missed tackles and blown coverage all year. Neither Wilson or Bell is a coverage safety. We have two (supposed to be) sure tacklers. Bums, if you will. Now we have Clemons back there who will most likely be torched by a receiver like Moss, but Sean Smith should hold his own. He has been pretty good this year and matches up with Moss in size.

#91. Good luck finding him though. As far as I know, the Dolphins haven't started him a single time this season.

Doubt it. Smith as been impressive. Very impressive actually. One day he will be able to shut down Moss all on his own, but I doubt that this is going to be the time. He's way too raw and has not gone up against a receiver like Randy Moss once in his career. He'll be in the position to bat a few passes away but, unless the Dolphins roll a safety over the top to double cover, I doubt he'll stop Moss from a 100 yard receiving day.

Tyronne Culver is by far our best coverage safety; he turns in at least one big play every game whether it's on defense or special teams. If it wasn't for Wilson actually playing pretty well the past two games, Culver would have taken his job.

He's one dimensional and we have Porter and Taylor, that's why he doesn't see a lot of time. But yeah, he is a pretty good pass rusher.
