Not sure where you could find that information...

The Patriots now have a bye in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015. Six seasons in a row Holy cow!!! I'd say they responded pretty well after that 2009 season when they decided to rebuild the roster.

They have also played in the AFCCG in 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014. Four seasons in a row with a chance this year for five. I believe the Raiders in the 70s had a streak of five.

Pats upped their record this year. SF and Dallas each had 4 in a row from 92-95

The 1990s Bills obviously reached 4 AFCCGs in a row.

The Vikings had three Super Bowl appearances in four seasons in the 70's..I believe they had 4 straight byes during that period

Did they even have playoff byes in the '70s? I don't remember.

Tell their fans that only the Seahawks are a threat to equal or exceed the Bills' record of losing 4 SBs in a row.

That requires them to reach 5 straight superbowls.

Nothing to sneeze at really but also not happening.

Yeah I was confused with his comment as well. I mean Seattle is 1-1 in the super bowl in the past 2 seasons.

But yes, 6 straight byes! That is quite amazing. Six straight seasons of having a path that only requires two victories to reach the Super Bowl.

In a way we've become the Atlanta Braves in which the regular season is pretty much the preseason. Winning the division and getting a bye is almost a foregone conclusion in most people's minds. The real season starts only the postseason (much like it was for the Braves when they won the division over and over again).

This is something that we may take for granted now (even if unintentionally) but will certainly miss and appreciate when Brady is gone.

It would be so special for TB to play in santa clara not far from san mateo with a
chance at history.

Huh? The Seahawks currently have a 1 game SB loosing streak.

Yeah but we're re-building right now damn it

Yikes...the Braves are forever remembered as an underachieving postseason team, a dynasty that wasn't.

Well. unlike the Braves we have four Super Bowls during our span on dominance.

But it's true though that the real season for us starts in the postseason. We just expect to win the East.

Yeah, a little reflection reveals how entitled I am. If someone else actually wins the East, I'm going to feel like they stole something, like they are trespassers. I bet I'm not alone here. Think about that...what an f'd up attitude, and I love it.

The Patriots haters better pray this guy doesn't make it to the big game in Santa Clara!

Oh he will be there and hells coming with him!!

#5 baby
