We've been taught well. We know what this coach values. He drafted a kid that will wear 3 hats on game day...CB, gunner, kick returner. As BB said, "a four down guy".
Now many were clamoring for Dez Bryant...they still are. Why on earth would any of you for a minute think that BB would touch this kid. He's drafting players who's heads are screwed on straight, who can get to the stadium on time, learn the playbook, be responsible....DO their JOB.
McCourty will be wearing 3 hats on Sunday, Dez Bryant will have misplaced his hat. Have you heard how the Cowboys will manage their gifted WR, they will establish a support group to guide him through football and life...special gloves for this kid...yeah...that will go over well in the lockerroom. Again, why would you ever expect BB to draft this kid. Missed flights for draft interviews, forgotten equiptment on Pro Day, lying to the NCAA. Seems this kid has major issues in the responsibility department.
BB runs a football team, not a babysitting service. Let Jerry Jones play daddy.
