Do you expect this game to be a pillow fight?

We saw Darren McFadden get 100 yards vs the "vaunted" nyj defense. It won't be like in Gillette when pats couldn't run to save their lives. Remember Dion lewis missed that game & really f#cked up the offense as they tried to adjust to missing Lewis.
That was also a what, 10, 11 drop game for the Pats? Since becoming Brady's go to guy it was edelmans worst game IMHO.
I think the offense will actually be ok. I may need my head examined but I'm worried about Fitzpatrick & the broken plays down field to Decker & Marshall....

Cowboys had 309 yards total offense with the undersized, overmatched Kellen Moore at QB. If the Pats catch the ball they score and win - 11 drops in the last Jets game.

We haven't exploded lately. I'm thinking it's time for a 50 burger, mainly because it would be so unexpected. Of course, I might have had too much Christmas Cheer, but ... I'm sticking with that prediction anyway.

pretty good chance we lose this game.
then again, these are the jests and they will find multiple ways to lose! fitz will throw a few picks for sure..
just have to cash in the redzone

james white will have another big game

Based on your posts it would be safe to assume you worry quite a bit about the Pats. RELAX and enjoy the ride. Merry Christmas to you and yours

I will watch the game just to see how much the Pats can handle adversity going into the playoffs.

But our last three games against the Jets have been decided by a combined total of 10 points. It's gonna be a very close game, but I think it will come down to (1) which team wants it more (2) and who has the fewer injuries.

The Jets need this win more than we do, and are, by comparison, the healthier team.

So I think the Pats lose out...but only by a few points.

Merry Christmas

I expect a Jamie Collins Christmas special in Sunday's game. That's what I expect.

Was watching the scroll on the nfln and they were going through the games for week 16 and on the tidbits for each team the jests was how they have 24 sacks since Week 9. No mention that in that same time the Pats have 21 sacks.

But since week 8

Pats- 26 sacks
jests- 24 sacks

nice try nfln

I think this thread should have a poll, because I think enough people believe this game will be a pillow fight that it will be very useful barometer to get some numbers on this important issue.

Happy Holidays, Merry New Year, Go Pats!

It'll be a dogfight. Fully loaded, we'd destroy them.

That said, I think I predicted 96-6 in alamo's thread...

Could be a pillow fight... if by 'pillow fight' you mean something like this...

That could have been so much worse if they didn't have those PT belts to keep them safe...thank god.

Agree! Fitzpatrick Marshall and Decker have been clicking and I'm a little worried that McCourty's absence could open things up in our secondary.

Completely unrelated but I'm in NY for the holidays and I'm finding it pretty funny how pumped up jests fans are for this game. They seem to be as excited about tomorrow's game as I usually get for Patriots Super Bowls. For the Patriots, a win would be nice so we can wrap up HFA and rest some players next week, but a loss isn't the end of the world. For the jests fans this appears to be their biggest game since 1969.

We will win. We are at home against a team we hate. The fans will be into it (you better be!), and no way Brady and Belichick miss out on a chance to seal up HFA.

We got this, baby!!!

There's plenty of time to lose meaningless games in Miami.

Wow how embarrassing....

In my defense, I have been basing my life on the schedule coming up in Google for the past few weeks saying we are not playing at Jets (there is no @ sign, which they always have for away games):

I am embarrassed I actually rely on this more than my own memory of us playing the Jets at home. Literally I misremembered retroactively because Google was telling me this....And I trust Google more than my own mind.

See: it isn't my fault, it's Google, and the vagaries of human memory. Yeah, that's it, I'm not stupid.

You the same guy that sat next to me at the Titans game that asked who we played in the AFC championship game last year?

It took me this many days to realize what you were talkinga bout. I just explained. But really, I have no excuse. Feel free to hold this over me the rest of my days here.

So, NOW I can't trust Google?
