Just wondering...Did Seymour's first 6 weeks of salary count against the cap? How about the remainder of Morris's?

Reason I'm asking, is why else would you make Morris ineligable to play for the rest of the season? If it does count against the cap, wouldn't it be better to just scratch him every week in the hopes that he'll be healthy at some point in the playoffs?

Yes and yes.

Because it's a spot that you can't give the spot to someone else who might be able to actually help you. Obviously, it's a judgment call.
