Is Lacosse the blocking TE du jour? Or can he catch a little?
If we add Philon we will already be much improved
This is the first signing that appears to affect draft needs (J-Mac too)
BB mustve misread... It's LaCosse, not Lacrosse. Bill, you oldie, get some glasses
EDIT - Repeated jokes still count
Pennel is not an average signing, not even close to it.
Shelton upgrade. I wanted this to happen.
DE Allen Bailey will be the next signing. He is supposedly visiting with the Pats
Feels good doesn't it
That's alot of beef!
Height: 6′ 4″
Weight: 333 lbs
Don't abuse the substances ....
Damn, that's not negligible money. I had him pegged as a vet min type. Must be a plan for him.
I like this signing, good player and he fills an obvious need.
Pennell's name came up in a lot of "potential Patriots fits" articles (if you discount the ones that all said we were going to sign Tate/Suh/Cook).
With all these signings today it leads me to believe the Patriots are trading up in the draft as they don't have room for 12 draft picks.
If he can pick up the system and timing, we may have found our move TE. That being said, still a ways to go.
Pros & cons to Denver moving forward with Matt LaCosse as TE1
We'll see how much is guaranteed and incentives.
Can at least compete against Hollister and Anderson for one TE spot.
