I would hope this means Gonzo is ready, but still huh? This is a little surprising. Just a week ago they were praising him as the most improved player in the secondary.

Funny, but not really.
What these "purging" cuts have proven - is that Vrabes is acting more like Parcells & BB than we thought. He's willing to have a worse season this year to start clean with guys he can trust than win this year and gamble with character.
I guess I can appreciate it in one sense, but this gamble better pay off this year too, or we're going to have issues!

I trust Vrabel and his coaching staff. Hasn't he brought in his own backup two bottom of the roster CB's?

Vrabel judges that James is currently a Practice Squad player at best.
