Re: Divisonal round breakdown: Ravens at Broncos

EXACTLY why I wanted them to lose. Teams like the Ravens are DANGEROUS.

I agree...I was torn during the game. I wanted Manning to lose as I am sick of the fawning over him, but it seems like there is something about the Ravens that make them very dangerous . Its like they are 'willing' Lewis to another ring!

Re: Divisonal round breakdown: Ravens at Broncos

Still not afraid of the Ravens. They are playing better than they did in the season, but Caldwell's play calling is worse than Cam Cameron. I saw this as more of a Manning/Broncos choke than a Ravens' win. The Ravens were more impressive last week.

The Ravens-still have enough to win in Foxboro if the Pats win tomorrow, but they are still not in the same class as the Pats.

:agree:

Unbelievable

Re: Divisonal round breakdown: Ravens at Broncos

The Ravens will be fully GASSED for next week, imagine having to go all the way to mile high, then play 4 hours with the oldest team in the league in those conditions and altitude and then having to come all the way back potentially to a freezing sub zero Foxborough.

How can that not be anything but positive SHOULD we win tomorrow?

Re: Divisonal round breakdown: Ravens at Broncos

I wouldn't underestimate this Raven team. They showed my alot today. If we get by tommorrow, I expect a dog fight. Just like last year

Maybe, but the Ravens were visibly emotional after that win.

I reckon there's always a limit to backing up after a win like that.

I can hear the cheering in New England from here.

Official Game Day Thread. Haha you have to post in a thread I created. - Page 71 - The Orange Mane - a Denver Broncos Fan Community

Re: Divisonal round breakdown: Ravens at Broncos

To be honest, I was not expecting the Ravens to play so well. They will be a tough out for sure and if they play like they did today should we face them, there is no shame in losing to that.

Re: Divisonal round breakdown: Ravens at Broncos

The Ravens have the power of belief. They believe in themselves and will NEVER quit. Just like last year, it will be a dogfight until the very last snap.

Game on.

Re: Divisonal round breakdown: Ravens at Broncos

ravens just played a tough game on the road, 5 quarters of football, so hopefully they are a bit tired this week. honestly, if I am a ravens player, how can I focus on the AFCCG after a win like that?

They will have plenty of time to rest. Don't think it will be as big a factor as we think.

As for focus, they have great leaders on this team, they will be more than focused.

Re: Divisonal round breakdown: Ravens at Broncos

I hope the writers haven't already voted for MVP.

It doesn't need to be Brady, I'm fine with Adrian Peterson, even JJ Watt, but NOT Peyton Manning.

Re: Divisonal round breakdown: Ravens at Broncos

another number 1 seed goes down for the count. i dont want to ever here how the number 1 seed is so so important but im sure i will. and all this talk about playing the ravens is a bit premature since the pats haven't beaten the texans yet.

I was shocked how conservative and predictable the Broncos offense was on third/fourth and short. They seemingly called dive plays up the middle with their 3rd down back or short yardage specialist each time instead of putting the ball in MVP Manning's hands--oh wait he calls his own plays. ;)

it was already voted on and votes sent in

it`s peyton rodgers or AP IMO

Re: Divisonal round breakdown: Ravens at Broncos

We still haven't beaten Houston yet....

Re: Divisonal round breakdown: Ravens at Broncos

Two more wins in the blues, one win in the whites.

Re: Divisonal round breakdown: Ravens at Broncos

The Broncos laid an egg. If it wasn't for 2 special teams returns this game wouldn't have even been close.

It's a lose-lose. Whatever team wins, you suddenly realize you don't want to face them. Obviously, you'd rather play the team that lost...they look nice and vulnerable.

That's why I root in a vacuum. I just wanted the Manning hype to end.

Re: Divisonal round breakdown: Ravens at Broncos

Asking for Denver next week vs Baltimore is asking for Payton to lay eggs two weeks in a row playing at home vs Baltimore coming up with two huge emotional efforts two weeks in a row on the road AND overcoming the combined offensive burden of Caldwell and Flacco. Sorry but even if the Pats were to lose that game I would like my chances more against Baltimore than Denver under those circumstances.

Pats need to play tomorrow and not underestimate the texans.

Once again the Manning Face chokes in the playoffs. :D

Re: Divisonal round breakdown: Ravens at Broncos

Revenge for that BS wins the Ravens had over us earlier on will be served brutally if we beat the Texans.
