Week 12 is in the books. Unfortunately, we must say goodbye to a great guy and a veteran of the Casino, @JarOfMayo51 who was screwed out of doubling up his money by the Browns OT TD. I hope you will be back next season.
We have a new #1! And by God, has there ever been a more deserving #1 in the history of competitions? Let's all stop for a moment and contemplate his greatness. ***Moment of silence and reflection***
In reality, I should feel a lot of shame. The (+170k) week was built on the good fortune of the Jets and Dolphins. Rooting for those teams to lose while rooting for them to win (and cover) was not healthy for the voices in my head.
Hyped and mgcolby continue their aggressive and hot betting, remaining fixtures in the Top 5 with sb1 and ArchAngel. FreeTedWilliams and venecol also had big weeks and continue to climb to the top of the standings.
There are still 6 weeks of regular season betting remaining...and then 4 weeks of playoff betting. Lots and lots of time left. Here are some examples of impressive turnarounds...
*** BaconGrundle was at the lowest of lows just several weeks ago. He was down to $46k and quit the game, offering to gift his remining money to the Casino. We talked him off the ledge, comped him a night with a couple hookers, and now he is all the way up to $165,500! Nearly 4X his bank roll. He is in prime position for the playoffs just by increasing his money little by little for the next 6 weeks.
*** Calhoun44 was down to $111k back in Week 5. Six weeks later, he is at $283,000 and is firmly in the Top 10. Lots of 2 team teasers mixed with some straight up bets have fueled his rise. I don't think he has had a negative week since Week 5 (maybe one small one?). Very impressive roll!
***PatsFaninVa was down to $116,000 not too long ago. He has now almost doubled his money to $218,000 and is just outside the Top 10. He has mixed betting everything but the kitchen sink to steadily increase his dough. If I offered odds on the kitchen sink, he would bet it too. Real degenerate, that one.
Keep at it. You are not out of this until you are out of it.
One final note about the preseason prop bets. Several of the $20k bets have already won: Jakobi Over TD's, Rham Over Catches, Broncos Under Wins, Eagles Over Wins, Seahawks Over Wins, Falcons Over Wins, Jets Over Wins. And many other of our bets will win by the end of the season. Here are current prop winners. These winnings are NOT included in your current bankroll. They will be added at the end of the regular season. So far....
