Please congratulate @Brandon_Cox on his dominant championship win. He stayed in the top 10 most of the regular season and then went on an amazing playoff betting run. Well earned win! @Ian could we get the 2022 Champion banner for Mr. Cox? Thank you, as always, for providing a great forum for our debauchery.

The final results for everyone are below, along with your starting bankroll next season. Finishing with 50k, then Top 10, then Top 4 paid off for many. SB1, neuronet, venecol, and FreeTedWilliams rounded out our Top 5. Nicely done.

Only one person, JarofMayo, in the Bankrupt Division finished with money. As a result, Mayo won 10k by finishing with 50k and another 5k for finishing first amongst the second-chancers. Well done!

Assuming there will be a third season of this contest, everyone will start at 200k in August. So, lots of you have a nice advantage on the newbies who may join us. As for now, I am burnt on football and the NFL in general. But I'm an addict, so I am sure we will be back to do this again. If I disappear, you can trade in your extra winnings for drinks and whores at the Casino.

Thank you all for a great season. After the first couple of weeks of learning the ropes, you guys made it easy for us by following our handful of rules for making your bets. It was a **** football season, but I think we made it much more enjoyable for us as viewers. I appreciate all of you for joining in the fun. And he doesn't like when I call him out, but tough titty said the kitty. If you enjoyed this, a thank you should go to @venecol for his assistance EVERY week along the way. I would have still done this without him (maybe), but it would have cost me double the time. And my calculating **** ups would have been a weekly ritual.

Hope to see you all in August for pre-season prop bets. It's only 6 months away.

FIrst time visitor here and not a gambler, but does this mean the Patsfans' party will be held on @Brandon_Cox' yacht? I'm good for a 12 pack.

Brandon rocked that ****!!!

I stayed alive and worked those 6 point parlays to my advantage, and am quite proud as I had no idea what that was when I started the season.

Many many thanks Dingleberry for all your work! If you start a tip jar I will contribute a chunk of my winnings. :p

I think someone could market this type of game. Set up a "Fantasy Gambling League" and people would pay to play in a league. The winner of the league gets a cash prize based on a percentage of the fees paid.
As a side not, I used the SB bets page that we used and told people at my SB get-together to spend all of the 100K that I "gave" them, they had to bet at least 5K per bet and had to place 10 bets. It was fun and kept people interested even if they didn't care about the game. @Dingleberry @venecol

Thanks @Dingleberry and @venecol for my first year in the casino. I'll take a lot of beginner's luck over actually knowing what I'm doing. I'm looking forward to next year!

BTW, was same game parlay #9 the only one that hit?

Nice banner. Wear it with pride!

I believe SGP#9 was the only winner. I have already deleted everything, so I am going by memory.

SGP's in general were a big winner for the Casino this year. They always look so juicy and likely to happen. And then they don't.

4 yards, I needed that bum Kelsey to get 4 more yards and I would have scored over a million dingles!!

Thanks Dingle, lots of fun, and proof that I should never bet sports with my money!

There were several people who were really close to hitting on big bets.

If Butker had made his FG, @venecol would be our champion, I believe. Doink.

I so wanted to bet the doink prop bet, kicked myself when it happened

So how much money did the casino make this year? I'm sure I screwed up your bottom line a little bit.

edited to add: subtacting out all the money the casino lent us at the beginning to get started

I may do the math once I get re-energized. But I guarantee the Casino came out on top. We started with 30 people, and a small percentage ended up over 200k. If we pretend that everyone started out with their own 200k and it wasn't a Casino gift, it was a blood bath.

30 X 200k is 6 million? I think that's right. So, that was the money in all the bank rolls in Week 1. Now? It's just over 4 million. Around 2M was lost. However, it was much worse than that. Consider the following:

1. All regular bets were paid at (+100). In the real world, these straight up bets usually pay (-110) or so. Even the ultimate 50/50 bet (coin toss for the SB) was paying anywhere from -102 to -105. The casinos always get a taste!

2. The teaser odds are also slightly inflated. A typical 6 point teaser might pay +190 rather than +200. I just insist on round numbers.

3. Think of how inflated the bank rolls are when you take into account the preseason prop bets that gave most people between 40k and 100k in winnings. If you take into account the gifted preseason betting money, the starting bank rolls were over 9 million not 6 million.

It appears the Casino netted around $5 million....even with the inflated payoff odds!

The lesson? Casinos always win.

Thanks, it was fun, looking forward to next year.

Thanks again, until next year
thats all folks GIF
