Correction is a "female"* former employee over a money dispute....

So it's a money dispute and the allegations of physical contact is a lie meant to work up the hive mind weirdos like me who are quick to call him a POS?

Or did he put his hands on a woman over a birthday cake

apparently the c#nt judge released the police report even though the defense argued releasing such documents could prejudice a jury. A man has no chance when there's a domestic issue in MA. None, nada, zip. If this goes to trial Diggs is ****ed.

uh -- the what judge? I could've guessed everything you wrote after you opened your sentence with that. No surprise.

My 2 cents FWIW.....suffocation/strangulation in most states as it should be is a felony. Often in court it gets reduced (plead out to an assault). If the info put out is somewhat true, meaning he had an altercation with the chef and kicked them out of his house. I could see examples during that incident where someone could get grabbed by the neck and pushed out the door. I could also speculate which is what everyone is doing, that the chef got with a lawyer (wanting to get paid) and they discussed (the best law violation to help them reach their goals) and went to the police to file a report. I am certain that this being a high profile case the PD screened this with the DA to ensure the appropriate charge is brought forward. If the officer/detective simply went and secured the warrant without consulting with the DA (which the can) they run the risk of the DA declining to prosecute the specific charge. I hope this is much ado about nothing. I really have grown to like him on the team. But until we know more I'm not passing any judgement.

Just a guess, but I think if this were likely a Domestic Violence incident, there would have been a pre-emptive suspension.

The reporting suggests that a settlement is being negotiated.
EDIT
The reporting now suggests that the alleged victim is a woman who was working for Diggs and living in his home and who has stated that she wants to press charges.

That complicates things.

So I have no idea where this is going, other than "nowhere good" for anybody.

Is that a rule of thumb? Can dudes not get choked out? Do we know for a fact the chef is female?

It's in the police report, as I said -- Diggs' female live-in chef.

As for "rule of thumb" and "can dudes not get choked out": Yes, I suppose "dudes" can get choked out and file charges over it. But in my prior life of 17 years reporting on police matters, the vast majority of assault charges involving choking/strangulation were man-on-woman.

Let's see how Krafty Bob plays this one....He cut Antonio Brown asap. He employed Christian Peter, a known woman beater. Krafty wants to be loved by all and i think he'll ****can Diggs if the media or his ownership pals press him on it

Not even worth responding to.

Dude took issue with the judge and not the alleged crime.

That's all you need to know.

AB talked **** about Kraft personally
He would've kept AB specially since Tom loved the guy back then

The reporting suggests that a settlement is being negotiated. So, another guess is that this was a situation with a male, known to Diggs, that got out of hand.

As I said, just guessing so possibly wrong.
Whoever said a settlement was being negotiated got it wrong. She was asked last week by police if she wanted criminal charges pressed. She said yes.

This is AFTER Stefon Diggs contacted her to come to an agreement, AFTER Cardi B also contacted her, AFTER one of Diggs' advisors also contacted her. She initially did not decide to press charges. Four days after the visit to the police station, she told police to tell Diggs and his people NOT to contact her or anyone associated with her anymore. When the officer asked if she wanted to press criminal charges, she said YES.

Now, anything can happen between lawyers, but based on the information we have so far, she is not interested in a negotiated settlement.

Female chef. Just read the police report, says Diggs attacked her after said wanted to be paid for the whole season and not terminated early. Says Diggs slapped her and chocked her that she felt she could have passed out. She reported it on 12/16. Incident happens 12/2. Says she does not have any evidence, it happened in her bed room.
Says Diggs wanted her out before his birthday party on 12/4 but she wanted paid before leaving his house. So this is a she said he said.
Lot of doubt there. Like KW distance from CBs gap of doubt. Betting no physical evidence, can't prove he did it given the 2 week gap.

Who cares what you did. I made my comment on Diggs collective personality as a person and that triggered you.

The weirdos will comment on me while I comment on Diggs. I don't go around name calling people because they say **** I don't like. I'd be doing that all day.

Again which of the comments is it specifically that you're referring to. Is it that he's not a piece of ****? Well good luck with letting that stand.

Is it that he won't be released? Dude has out performed his contract as it is and was always going to force a renegotiation. He was gone anyway.

But sure. Single me out because you don't like my collective post hahah.
"The weirdos will comment on me while I comment on Diggs."

Don't you see the hypocrisy of that statement?

I guarantee that as we speak the piece of **** Boston fake news media is trying to contact every known female associate of Stefon Diggs and asking if they wish to "go on the record" and discuss any past violence. Guarantee. You cannot hate the media enough.

Based on this, I don't know who to believe. He could have done it. She could be disgruntled and using a felony report to extort money out him. It could be that he grabbed her to remove her from the house after she refused to leave (still probably not good) and she is overblowing the situation.

The fact that she waited two weeks to report and have no physical evidence of the attack will probably mean this case is going nowhere. As you said, it is a he said/she said. Not sure if the league will do anything either without any actual evidence other than her word.

A lot of you are downplaying this report. I think the NFL may suspend him and the Patriots would most likely try to get ahead of that. They don't want this alleged strangulation constantly mentioned during the playoffs when a lot more people are tuning into the games.
lol. No chance. If they do, the mafia can hire people to go make charges against any best player, file a police report, let the NFL suspend them before big games. How do you police this?

It varies from state to state on the definition of domestic assault but in some states simply living together is the only requirement which would make an altercation with the live-in-chef a domestic.

I think Kraft hired Mayo (1st black Pats head coach) in order to be loved by all after the massage parlor problems. So I could see Kraft doing this as well.

I don't. Because you are a weirdo if you specifically challenge my assertion that he is a POS with name calling.

If you can't even respond to me without name calling you are absolutely a weirdo.

I encourage you to follow the block chain of replies. Simply click on the names in the quotes to follow them to who started what.

You'll see that these weirdos immediately went to town on name calling me because I took the position that he's a piece of ****.

Of course they're no where to be found not even a half out later now that the police report suggest what any rationale person could have predicted. Sounds about right.

Sounded to me like there’s no physical proof on her? From the sounds of the accusation, she would’ve at least had some strangulation marks from getting choked by an NFL athlete.

That would be the issue here. Usually domestic violence related charges are pretty easy to at least prove on the victim just by photo/physical evidence something happened.

He’s got a bunch of stuff in his past suggesting he makes dumb impulsive decisions. This feels in line with that.

But doesnt make me think he’s a scumbag I’d rather not have in the Pats.

This will blow over
Irving Fryar had some incidents and issues here.

He also played his ass off.

Had Kiam kept Flutie, Irving may well have gotten a well-earned Super Bowl ring.

But of course, he didn't, and Irving requested a trade before Parcells was hired. Too many losing seasons.

And Parcells was pissed, he knew how good he was.
