DeSean Jackson?

So the point was that the poster didn't know what he was talking about, because the rich often keep money on hand?

Well, if they own the bank, they are required to keep a certain amount of reserves.

Which of course would mean, if AH lived in 90% of the country he would be free right now, but I digress.

So, you live in a state that has no registered guns, murder is legal and you need to keep tons of cash in your home because there are no banks. Hmm.

We could give him a 2 year dummy contract

Dropping the ball unimpeded twice before reaching the goal line was dumb, but your comment is just piling on.

Makes me wonder what type of contract the Patriots used for Ocho, though.

So, they are actually sitting on piles of cash? I always thought that was a euphimism for holding money market funds instead of stock.

Amounts vary, naturally, but anyone calling someone an idiot for keeping cash on hand instead of elsewhere is someone who doesn't know what they're talking about. Perhaps a look at what happened in Greece, or taking a look at what's going on with banks

Now bank decides IF you can have your money

etc..., including those in the U.S., would help such people to understand, but perhaps not.

He hasn't been convicted of murder.

that reports about releasing him is BS. IF they release a WR like that..then there HAS to be something wrong with him....

I'm starting to lean towards him getting out. Too many witnesses have coincidentally gone missing.

Jets fans are so excited for his arrival..would be a shame if he didn't go there....

Rap says Jets and Oakland are the two teams

Yeah why would anybody want a crappy released guy like Revis? Players get released all the time and the issue more often than not is money.

I am not sure this is mainly a money issue like Revis was

If he went to the jets it would sure make him very easy to hate

steal him away from the Jets. The meltdown on JI would be so sweet and just.

oh it really would. Even if he goes to Oak over them they will completely close it.

If they sign him. Top 5 O in the league. Count on it :bricks:

Not necessarily, but I think that's an issue here.

If I was making $10 million a year, having $250k in my house is the same as someone making $100k a year having $2500 in the house

No, it really wouldn't be the same at all.

Amounts vary,
No ... Really? Is this a supposition, or did you do a survey?

So, DeSean Jackson kept $250k cash (along with valuable jewelry and unregistered firearms in the form of semi-automatic handguns) at his home as a hedge against bank failure a la the Greek debt crisis? Riiiiiiiight.

Look, the burglary in itself doesn't make him an idiot. But I'm willing to bet that Jackson's hip-hop gangsta wannabe social identity had more to do with noted items held in his domicile than tutorials at Fidelity Investments. I'm also willing to bet that Jackson wasn't terribly discrete about his "bling" while chillin' with hangers-on out on the town. Someone knew the money was there.

I am not sure why you would feel that way teams release players all the time, the Bucs released Revis. They did not have to they had the cap space to retain him; they just wanted to move in a different direction, the Eagles may feel the same.

Don't forget those thug tats and those stupid sneakers they wear. A.J's mom had it right!

Please help me understand what Hip-Hop has to do with it? Lol

Oh, you funny guy. I'm sure you know quite a bit about it already without me boring you.
