It's easy, and only takes a few moments.Yeah, absolutely formidable, with reinforcements mid-season if Harry can heal up properly. DT as your #3 WR is really something. I guess that makes Dorsett the #4 and Meyers the #5?If DT is healthy then the Pats have a formidable WR lineup.

Huh? You mean over DT and JG because of familiarity?Unpopular opinion: Opening day Dorsett *may* be #2.
How?Unpopular opinion: Opening day Dorsett *may* be #2.
It's remotely possible I suppose, if DT is not all the way there yet and if Gordon still needs conditioning and is also on his own snap-count of some kind... But I am pretty sure Gordon will be #2 on the depth chart going forward. He was here last year, put up big numbers and seems to be in fine shape to me.Unpopular opinion: Opening day Dorsett *may* be #2.

How?
He is the 4th or 5th best wr. He has been so-so as a 3/4 and struggled mightily as a 2.Some people want to push him out the door. I gather that he has had a solid summer. Practice is no longer open to the public so we cannot know for sure until the games start and we see the formations used.

Who here did NOT expect this?
One point of contention. Dorsett has been an exceptional 4 (even 3). Filled in nicely last year week 1. Had top 10 hands in the NFL last year and was clutch in the playoffs. His numbers were right in line for what he was supposed to do and he is never injured. He is the 4th or 5th best wr. He has been so-so as a 3/4 and struggled mightily as a 2.
There is just no reason to believe he is ahead of Thomas and Gordon on the depth chart.
It’s like predicting Bentley will play ahead of Hightower.
At some point there is a 95% chance Gordon or some other WR will get hurt, etc and they could use full strength DT/Harry, etc even more then..
Yes we need to worry that a 9 year veteran with almost 700 catches can only exploit scrubs and isn’t able to play against starters so let’s out a rookie or a guy who ended up benched last year out there. That makes a lot of senseI think they’d be very wise to slowly work DT in against the real football professionals, not the Burger King employees he played last week.
Hopefully, he is full speed by mid season. At some point there is a 95% chance Gordon or some other WR will get hurt, etc and they could use full strength DT/Harry, etc even more then.
