Pats players are going to rally and put a whooping on SEA..this is going to be great

This is really going to hurt us resigning players like Revis and getting free agents to sign with us. We are F#CKED!! I am still a Patriots fan and I am never going to give up on our team!! We will get through this!!

About resigning free agents, QBs and WRs are much better off signing for warm weather and domed teams than they are signing with teams that must use waterlogged almost frozen balls that weigh much more than balls elsewhere.

Wait, what? You want Kraft to throw the Super Bowl, hedging on the bet that everyone will suddenly realize the error in their ways and apologize?

Do you really think it will end up that way? That's what I was alluding to...NFL would never go along with that due to impact on ratings...earnings. They'll counter with a lesser penalty.

I concede that it is a big gamble...

I have heard something a little different. In this version, the ball boys are local kids that work for the NFL.

We've heard different things about the ballboys--although I don't think the NFL really gives a damn about any of it. People are starting to nitpick some really idiotic things.

None of our opinions matter. No one is going to convince me that the Pats are either guilty or not guilty. We're basically only here to bounce ideas off of each other until the official report comes in--hopefully by the end of this week. In other words, we're pretty much just killing time and here to check in with any rumors or news that someone may have.

And for the Patriots. Kraft may think he's the reason for this but it's Tom and Bill. If they go without a transition the Patriots will return to the 70s. And it will be well deserved.

I suppose the most pathetic aspect of this would be that of a systematic takedown of the most successful model in the free agency era of the NFL. It would be terrible for the fans and team employees alike.

This is so ridiculous. It's about air pressure in a football. You know what? F*** everyone else.

This team is about to play in the Super Bowl. I can't wait for them to come out in full FU mode and beat the sh*t out of Seattle.

Everyone else can b*tch and moan about cameras, PSI and asterisks. F*ck them. Let's just get another Super Bowl.

Sorry, I live in Indy and have been bombarded with this today.

I don't get why even some members on this forum think the Patriots deserve the guillotine punishment when the difference in weight of the balls was proven to have NO impact. But sure. Let's suspend Belichick for a year and throw the Super Bowl. Why not!!

The only thing I can say to this is, once you squeeze the toothpaste out of the tube, you can't get it back it in.

Can someone update me on what has come out today? I dont have the strength to read through the past 50 pages

Indeed.

It is just too bad that this has mushroomed to the Godzilla of a controversy it is right now, when ordinarily we would all be discussing X's and O's and other regular SB topics.

Not taking the time to catch up on the last 20 some pages, but he said very recently that BB hasn't spoken to him since ~2007. I'm sure I don't need to hint why.

King has done some hardcore Patriots' ass kissing in recent seasons however with even the chance that we did something again he is going back to his roots that got him "banned from BB" in the first place. It sounds personal because it is personal. Personal to BB.

I actually thought of a brilliant gambit Kraft can pull. Have pats admit to guilt (assuming no definitive proof) on contingency that league recognizes the limits are arbitrary and meaningless and give no advantage.

New rule is put in books to change limit from like 10 to 16 or whatever which gives teams more control.

Then Pats are guilty of violating a silly rule and are punished accordingly but league recognizes there was no serious competitive advantage.

Well King is getting the silent treatment from BB it seems!

I have seen almost no one who says Belichick deserves absolute punishment, Joey. You may not get this, Joey, but there is a difference between what you want to happen and what is probably going to happen. No matter how big of a fan you are, that can't change what is probably going to happen. Kapisco?

Almost getting to 200 on a thread about deflation lol.I would like to put my anger towards someone but I cant. Its not about football anymore.I just cant believe bb put the pats fans through this bs again.

Really? What did he do?

I wonder what Brady would say if one asked him which throw he'd like to take back the most.

You guys feel that? It's the calm before the storm...like the few days before Hernandez was arrested when nothing happened. Lull them into a false sense of security, then pounce.

If things go down with anything above a draft pick loss, I was the nuclear option enforced.

I believe the best answer is "a couple of facts, a ton of opinions, and a metric s***ton of speculation."
