Defensive Front 7 Roster "Competition"?

Who am I missing? Pryor, Francis and Tarpinian?

I've included lost of players who we thought might not make it: Cunningham, Warren, Brace, Scott, Carpenter, and Koutouvides.

So, I guess it's 6 of these 9, if one of the safeties doesn't take away a special teams roster spot. I suppose this is quality depth that everyone is talking about.

If Pryor doesn't go on PUP, I think he definitely makes it over Warren and Koutouvides. Belichick used him a lot in the first 2 games last season before he got hurt. I think he likes Pryor a lot and will either make the team or go on PUP/IR.

I would say Tracy White deserves consideration too. With Fletcher eventually headed to IR perhaps Mike Rivera deserves consideration as well. The others - Aaron Lavarias, Tim Bulman, Marcus Harrison, Marcus Forston - certainly appear to be longshots on the outside looking in.





My last attempt at guessing the 53-man roster looked like this:

LDE (2) Rob Ninkovich, Jake Bequette
RDE (2) Chandler Jones, Trevor Scott
OLB(4) Jerod Mayo, Tracy White, Jeff Tarpinian, Bobby Carpenter
ILB(3) Donta Hightower, Brandon Spikes, Dane Fletcher

Obviously Fletcher gets scratched from that list. I'm not quite as sold on Francis after last night. I'm waffling on White, Scott, Francis, Cunningham, Brace and Warren.
